HBO released cryptic plot synopses and titles for the first four episodes of Westworld season 3 ahead of its March 15 premiere.  The critically acclaimed series is an adaptation of Jurassic Park author Michael Crichton's novel of the same name. Westworld has been a ratings powerhouse for the premium cable network, and anticipation for the new season has been at an all-time high since the first full trailer was released.

CBR shared the official titles and synopses for the first four episodes of season 3. The season 3 episode synopses share a common theme: they're all vague metaphors. The episode titles aren't any more revealing, with names like "Parce Domine," and "The Absence of Field," they're just as ambiguous as the synopsis attached. "Parce Domine," for example, blankly states, "If you're stuck in a loop, try walking in a straight line." While the title and descriptions don't reveal much in advance, it will be interesting to see if they take new meaning after seeing the actual episodes.

Westworld season 3 brings back most of the cast from the first two seasons, alongside new cast member Aaron Paul. The series also adds Master of None actress Lena Waithe in a mysterious role and promises to visit new theme parks. Plus, after complaints from some fans that season 2 was too confusing, co-showrunner Jonathan Nolan pledged the third season would be easier to follow.
