Wendy Williams yelled at an audience member to "get out" after their phone rang during the show. The host of The Wendy Williams Show didn't bother hiding how annoyed she was.

The daytime TV show is currently airing its 11th season and has been renewed through 2022. The 55-year-old former radio host is known for her over the top antics and opinions, and she most recently made the news for accusing Dancing With The Stars contestant and friend, Christie Brinkley for faking her injuries in order to get her daughter, Sailor Brinkley-Cook, on the show in her place.

According to ABC News, Williams went off on an audience member for allowing their phone to ring during the taping, saying, “Get out! Get out!”. The host quickly told the culprit to turn off their phone immediately and pointed to the exit. She then explained that, while tickets to her show are free, there is a rule that phones should be turned off when cameras are rolling. Williams tried to turn her anger around to a joking tone, admitting that she may have been overdramatic in her reaction, but just wanted to make sure that this sort of situation never happened again. Check out the video below:

Williams has been known to struggle with her emotions, especially during last season when she was forced to take numerous hiatuses due to her health, sobriety, and her husband having filed for divorce. Her ex-husband had fathered a daughter with a mistress in April, leaving Williams heartbroken, but determined. Since her divorce was finalized, the host had been linked to a young, convicted felon named Marc Tomblin and a doctor who she told viewers was in his late '50s. Not wanting to be scorned twice, she had openly stated that she would definitely get a prenup if she were to ever remarry.

It should go without saying that audience members ought to follow filming etiquette, even if said etiquette isn't spelled out for them. Even if Williams might have seemed irritated during her outburst, it's hardly uncalled for. Like anyone else, she's trying to make a living, and her job so happens to involve strangers, day after day, who she has no choice but to trust. So, when they break that trust and behave inappropriately - interrupting her monologuing and slowing down the show - a negative reaction is only natural.
