Moriah Plath will finally reveal the truth about her breakup with Max Kallschmidt on the next episode of Welcome To Plathville. Moriah, the 19-year-old daughter of Barry and Kim Plath, began dating Max in 2020, and viewers were first introduced to the 21-year-old during Welcome To Plathville season 2. By season 3, Moriah and Max's relationship was closer than ever. Not only did Max gift his girlfriend with a promise ring, but the two were also busy making plans to move in together.

Moriah's family and Welcome To Plathville viewers were supportive of Moriah and Max's relationship and thought that Moriah would end up marrying her first boyfriend, which is why it came as a shock when Moriah and Max split in November 2021. Although both individuals declined to reveal the details of their untimely break up leading up to Welcome To Plathville season 4 (which debuted in May), a video uploaded by Max confirmed that he had "crossed some boundaries," before Max confessed to Moriah's brother Micah that he kissed another woman. Although Max's video gave more context to their breakup, fans of the series still had a lot of questions.

In a clip of next week's Welcome To Plathville episode obtained by People, Moriah finally reveals the truth about what led to her and Max's breakup. In a tearful confessional, Moriah admits that Max's video was a less-than-accurate portrayal of their surprising separation. "The first thing I want to make clear is that, [Max] did cheat," Moriah confirms, although she is still choosing to take the high road with, "I'm not going to tell the details. There's no reason for me to embarrass him like that, but I didn't just leave him for no reason." In addition, Moriah says the "most important aspect," of their hurtful breakup is that Max "brought my family into this unnecessarily."

While speaking to her older brother Ethan and his wife Olivia at their shared Florida home, Moriah further reveals that she had chosen to keep quiet on her breakup with Max because, "I used to feel like I had to protect him in a way, like protect his name," although now, Moriah says, "I don't give a f**** how that looks anymore." Slamming her ex-boyfriend for describing their relationship as being "in a funk," in his explanation video, Moriah comments that she believes they were in anything but. "He had given me a promise ring. He was going to move in, he was excited about that, we were building our future together," Moriah emotionally explains to Ethan and Olivia, before further slamming Max's lack of accountability in his actions with, "He's not even willing to say, 'I cheated on her.'"

Although there's no doubt that Moriah's first breakup has hit the third-oldest Plath sibling hard, the young adult still has plenty of life ahead of her. While some Welcome To Plathville fans are tired of hearing about Moriah and Max's breakup, many are still sympathizing with the reality star and hope that she eventually ends up with another person who truly cares for her. In the meantime, Moriah isn't the only Welcome To Plathville star who is going through a rough patch, as her mother Kim recently moved out of the Plath family home in the midst of her marital issues with Barry. Season 4 may have only just started, but there is plenty of drama still in store for viewers.
