Kim and Barry Plath are parents to their nine kids and Welcome To Plathville fans saw all of the rules they had, but there are signs they have loosened up since season 3 ended. All of the Plaths have evolved since season 1 of the show, when the entire family was living on their large farm in Cairo, Georgia. Now, with four kids moved out, Kim and Barry have become less strict to their younger kids. Check out all of the signs that the Plath parents have eased up on the rules.

Moriah and Micah Plath were kicked out of their family home on Welcome To Plathville season 2 for rebelling against their parents. Moriah wore makeup and revealing clothes, while Micah wanted to pursue modeling rather than working on their farm. During Welcome To Plathville season 3, Micah and Moriah had a heart-to-heart with their parents about wishing they were raised with more freedom. They also shared how their homeschooling left them without high school degrees and asked that Kim and Barry treat the younger kids better. This seemed to be a turning point for the parents, as they loosened up on some of the rules after this conversation.

Kim and Barry started building a better relationship with Moriah on Welcome To Plathville, even when she dyed her hair and got tattoos, which they were previously against. Kim even shocked Moriah by saying she supported her music career, even though she performs secular music. She also said that would come see Moriah's shows, even if they were in bars. Kim backed her relationship with now ex-boyfriend, Max Kallschmidt, even when the pair showed physical affection at the dinner table in front of her younger siblings.

Welcome to Plathville Moriah and Lydia

The Plath parents had strict rules about what their kids could eat and how they dressed on Welcome To Plathville. Moriah always rebelled by wearing makeup, but now obedient middle child, Lydia Plath, is allowed to wear makeup, and often has mascara on. Kim and Barry also allowed their youngest daughters, Amber, Cassia, and Mercy, to get their nails done for the first time and let them have lollipops. They went with Moriah, which also means that the parents are letting their younger kids hangout with the older ones without supervision.

From the beginning of Welcome To Plathville, the Plath kids were isolated on the farm and not raised with any knowledge of pop culture or technology. All of that has changed after season 3 when Isaac and Lydia Plath, who are still living in their family home in Georgia, were allowed to get Instagram accounts. Fans love seeing the Plath kids banter over social media, especially as they are spread across the country with Micah in California and Moriah in Florida. The Plath siblings have spent a lot of quality time together on Welcome To Plathville and fans are hoping to see more of them celebrating their freedom on season 4.
