Kim has been off the radar since the recent season of the TLC series stopped filming. Now, Kim has moved on with her rumored boyfriend, and it looks like she is trying to reinvent herself.
Fans have not held back their strong opinions when it comes to Welcome to Plathville's Kim. Many have stated that they felt she was extremely manipulative and hypocritical. Kim and Barry Plath raised their nine children in the small town of Cairo, GA, on their secluded farm. The account was clearly Kim, as just two days ago, she uploaded a photo of herself, her kids, and her new boyfriend, Ken Palmer, celebrating her daughter, Mercy's birthday. The name change felt very much like Kim was trying to fly under the radar with her social plans and go incognito on Facebook regarding her day-to-day life.
Who is India Venta?
Kim Plath is a Christian fundamentalist, and in her religion, the name India means to praise, and Venta in Spanish represents an establishment or building of ancient tradition. It could be that Kim is still trying to use her new name to represent her strong religious beliefs. Kim was once known for her praise and worship of Jesus, and it could be possible that she is trying to show followers that she still very much believes in the traditional ways she raised the Plath kids with. Since her split from Barry, Kim has desperately tried to distance herself from the conservative picture she painted.
