Fans have gotten to know more about Isaac Plath on Welcome to Plathville season 3, including how he is similar to older sister Lydia. He is an aspiring pilot and had his first flight lesson this season, but he is also being put in the middle of some serious family drama on the show.

Isaac and Lydia are the middle siblings in the large Plath family. Fifteen-year-old Isaac is the youngest son and the only son still living with his parents, Kim and Barry. Isaac is close to his parents, and he even had the uncomfortable birds and the bees talk with his dad in Welcome to Plathville season 3. He is also close with his older brothers Micah and Ethan, and the trio spent an afternoon trying to golf. He was not allowed to see them for months because of the family divide. Because of Isaac and Lydia's position in the family, many fans discovered how similar they are.

Lydia is known as the obedient daughter and the mediator in the family. She is loyal to her parents, but also spends a lot of time with her rebellious older sister Moriah. Lydia has had several tearful confessionals on Welcome to Plathville about feeling stuck in the middle and forced to pick sides. It seems that Isaac is also being put in the same position after a similar confessional this season. Isaac and Lydia are both soft-spoken and seem to stay under the thumb of their parents. Isaac and Lydia have both said they just want their family back together and everyone getting along.

Plath Family: TLC: Welcome to Plathville

When Ethan and dad Barry were arguing on the driveway, Isaac was the one who intervened. Isaac also got out of the car when Kim crashed Moriah's first singing gig to talk Ethan down and diffuse the situation. Kim and Barry now refer to Isaac as an obedient son and pointedly added that he knows the difference between right and wrong. Though most fans place the Plath parents firmly in the wrong category, Kim and Barry seemingly think they are on the right side of things.

Many fans think Isaac will leave the Plath family home before Lydia because she is even more devoted to her parents. Like the other Plath siblings, Isaac and Lydia do not get to hang out with kids their own age unless it is their sibling. They both struggled with knowing how divided their family is and still being forced to live with their parents while not seeing their older siblings. Fans hope Isaac and Lydia will get more freedom and bonding time with their siblings on Welcome to Plathville.
