Even though Kim and Barry Plath are not currently on speaking terms, viewers of Welcome to Plathville don't feel that their marriage will end in a divorce. The couple has been together since a young age after a chance meeting at a church. Currently, they are dealing with a few bumps in the road, but all is not lost.
Even though Barry is trying to hold tightly to the Plath family's core values, Kim is looking toward the future and essentially throwing away her strict rules. Fans were shocked that Kim was showing off leg and cleavage while admitting that she wasn't happy anymore. The first three seasons of Welcome to Plathville introduced viewers to the extremely strict and military-like lives of the Plaths. With Kim moving away from her once strong faith, Barry has been left to pick up the pieces. Even though the two are not currently getting along, fans still don't think they will call it quits.
While Welcome to Palthville season 4 leads fans to believe that Kim and Barry may be over once and for all, the chances of a divorce are highly unlikely. For a very long time, the parents of nine children, Kim and Barry raised their kids on a large farm in a small town in Georgia in order to keep them protected from outside influences. The couple always presented a united front, with Kim often leading the charge. The two have even managed to survive a terrible tragedy after the loss of their son, Joshua. Even though Kim and Barry don't seem to be communicating, fans still think they are meant for one another.
While Kim and Barry's relationship is still up in the air, neither of them has officially filed for divorce in the state of Georgia. The two obviously still have a great love for one another and most likely wouldn't want to throw their relationship away, especially with little girls still at home. As Barry has stated, Kim could just be going through a mid-life crisis and figure out on the other end that she still loves Barry.
Currently, Welcome to Plathville season 4 is showing the couple at quite a distance. Moriah Plath has also gone through heartbreak as she revealed she broke up with her boyfriend, Max. Sadly, it looks like Kim is traveling a lonely road since most of her children are siding with Barry. Hopefully, the two can mend their broken union and reunite strong than ever.
