Olivia Plath from Welcome To Plathville continues to break tradition among her all-blonde in-laws. She showing off a new hair color, which is very different from her usual look. Plath flaunted her new red hair in a Valentine's Day post with her husband, Ethan.
Olivia and Ethan Plath have been married since 2018, and there's been more to their union than glamourous photoshoots and flowing hair. The couple has had to deal with the fact that Ethan's parents Kim and Barry Plath are Christian fundamentalists who don't let their nine children listen to modern music, eat sugar, or watch TV. Despite being almost totally cut off from the outside world, the eldest son Ethan met Olivia at a Christian family camp in 2014. Although Olivia is Christian as well, she grew up less sheltered than Ethan, and she began introducing him to the outside world, including Coca-Cola, Friends, tattoos, and fashion.
Despite tension with Ethan's parents, Olivia and Ethan seem to be doing better than ever. Olivia's newest Instagram post was dedicated to her husband, and the professional photographer kept her caption short and sweet. She wrote, "They say the longer the sappy post, the more problems in paradise ... I kid, I kid 😝 But I’ll just say Happy Valentines Day, baby. It isn’t all sunshine, but everyone needs a good rain too 🌦" Her reference to the "rain" may relate to the troubles that Ethan and Olivia have faced with Kim and Barry Plath, who refuse to let Ethan and Olivia see the other Plath siblings. Previously, Olivia's naturally blonde locks matched the all-blonde Plath family's tresses, but now the Welcome to Plathville star is standing out with a warm auburn look. In her hair's debut on IG, she wrote that having red hair was a childhood dream of hers and that she "couldn't be more obsessed" with her new color. Her followers loved her new look, and the praise continued in her newest pic with Ethan, as seen below:
Olivia's new hairstyle proves yet again that she's not afraid to break the mold and follow her heart. Fans hope she continues to rock the redheaded look. They want her to chase her dreams. Of course, her desire to experiment doesn't sit well with Kim and Barry.
Ethan's parents began complaining about Olivia to Ethan long ago. Now, Ethan and Olivia from Welcome to Plathville are not on speaking terms with Kim and Barry Plath. This doesn't make their lives easy. However, they are being true to themselves.
