TLC's Welcome to Plathville follows the lives of the large Plath family living in rural Georgia, as the many children cope with the strict rules set by their parents. Moriah has been rebelling against her parents for the past two seasons of the show, always wanting to be off of the farm her family lived on and hoping to see the rest of the world. Now, she's expressing herself with a new hairstyle.

In season one of the show, Moriah was often at odds with her parents, her younger sister Lydia, and the rest of her family. She was the most vocal about questioning why her parents did not allow them to leave the 55-acre farm they lived on often, why they were not allowed to have sugar, and access to television. She also fought with her mom about what to wear, often the only child wearing jean shorts and a tank top rather than the conservative dresses her sisters wore frequently.

Season two of Welcome to Plathville found Moriah and Micah out of the family home, though still in her native Cairo, Ga. Micah and Moriah, 19 and 18 years old, respectively, have a small house and are providing for themselves. Moriah has been following her passion for music throughout the season, writing and recording her first original song. She has had some interactions with her parents, even introducing them to her now-boyfriend, Max.

In an episode of season two, she made it clear that she did not think the way she was raised by her parents was right, though she seems to be working to mend that relationship. However, she still does things her parents would not approve of, including dyeing her hair and getting a tattoo. In addition to her recent Black Heart tattoo, Moriah embraced her wild side with a new hair color. Moriah debuted her new look a few days ago on Instagram. The teen said in the post that she is not fully blonde anymore and needed a change so she switched up her hair.

Welcome to Plathville showed the struggles of the fractured Plath family over season two, and especially highlighted the struggles of Moriah and Micah learning to live on their own. Moriah's new look, complete with her two-toned hair and first tattoo will hopefully give her the freedom she has wanted for so long. Let's hope we get to see a lot more of Moriah's journey on season three of Welcome to Plathville.
