Welcome to Plathville is a TLC reality series that tracks the unconventional lives of the Plath family. In the second season of the series, fans were introduced to Moriah's best friend, Max, and quickly speculated they were more than just friends. After a rocky start to their relationship, the pair has spent a lot of time together and seem happier than ever.
Season 1 of Welcome to Plathville focused on the unique personalities of each member of the large family and how they all interact with each other. From the beginning of the series, it was apparent Moriah was the more rebellious child, dressing differently from her siblings and always trying to break free from her tight-knit family and her parents' strict rules.

Season 2 of the series focused more on Moriah's development into adulthood, and some major changes from the first season. Fans see Moriah and her brother, Micah, living on their own in a small home and off the family farm. Moriah showed her maturity, as she got her first job to support herself, started dating seriously for the first time, and began pursuing her passion for music. Max was introduced as one of Moriah's very best friends, but the two seemed to have a lot of chemistry on the show. He managed to woo Moriah's strict parents, who were impressed by his personality and the fact that he is attending a community college to continue his education. Max drove up in a motorcycle, looking like a rebel in his leather jacket, and ended up being quite the sweetheart.
Max and Moriah often post couple pictures on both of their Instagram accounts, from celebrating their anniversary to flaunting their Christmas vacation. The pair spent the holidays together in his native Florida on the beach. Max praised how much he loves going on their adventures together, as the pair are quite an active couple. Max posted a sweet message in his latest Instagram post, writing "I'd say our future is as bright as your clothes," as she was wearing an extremely bright neon orange ensemble. Max even added the signature black heart emoji, likely an ode to Moriah's first tattoo that says black heart.
Moriah initially had a tough time with it being her first relationship and opening up about the hard times in her childhood, leading to Max briefly breaking up with Moriah. However, the two could not stay apart from each other and quickly reconciled. The couple just celebrated their eight-month anniversary and seem happier than ever. Max has been supportive of Moriah's decisions that her parents likely would not approve of, such as using dye to color her hair. She also got her first tattoo in 2020, and seems set to get more in the future. Let's hope these two have many more fun adventures to come in the new year and that they will both be on season 3 of Welcome to Plathville!
