Moriah and Ethan Plath from Welcome to Plathville have always supported each other during their family drama, through all three seasons of the reality series. As the oldest Plath child, Ethan understandably feels very protective of his younger sister, Moriah. Though the two have very different personalities and interests, they have formed a close bond due to their unusual shared experiences with their parents, Kim and Barry Plath. Here are all of the reasons why Moriah and Ethan are the closest Plath siblings.
As there are nine kids in the Plath family, and big age differences among them, it's no surprise that some siblings seem closer than others. Moriah shared that she's hardly talked to Hosanna Plath (her older sister) since Hosanna moved to Ohio with her husband. Many fans saw how close Moriah and Lydia Plath were, despite being polar opposites. While Moriah was the wild child growing up, Lydia was known as the most obedient offspring. Ethan seemed to goof off with younger brothers Micah and Isaac Plath the most.
Fans have noticed that Isaac and Lydia are more similar now, as are Moriah and Ethan. Moriah and Ethan have both been deemed rebellious by their parents, who have called them out for being bad influences on the younger children. Isaac and Lydia tend to stick up for their parents the most out of all the siblings, while Moriah and Ethan are at odds with them regularly. Being shunned by their parents brought Ethan and Moriah together because they were both in the same boat. They helped each other out during the most difficult times. Moriah and Ethan shared their love of cars in the sweet sibling post shown above. They spent the day detailing their cars, fondly naming them "Lightning" and "McQueen." Ethan has always spent his free time working on cars. Though Moriah usually talks about her love of music on the show, she also loves her Mustang. Viewers have noticed how close the brother and sister have become over the course of the show.
Not only do Ethan and Moriah hang out a lot, but they are also roommates. However, Moriah decided that she wanted to try out life in Tampa. Micah decided to leave for LA to pursue his modeling career, and he was her roommate. This meant that Moriah needed to find a new roomie. She is now living with Ethan and his wife Olivia Plath in a brand-new state. Fans hope to see more of Moriah and Ethan's bonding moments on the next season of Welcome to Plathville.
