Emily Bieberly from 90 Day Fiancé season 9 is enjoying her weight loss transformation, and fans are wondering if slimming down has changed what TLC fans refer to as Emily's “Karen” personality in any way? When Emily went to Asia to work as an English teacher, she may not have known that she'd find herself on TLC three years later, being scrutinized by viewers all over the world. The Kansas native unexpectedly became a mom at age 29, after a whirlwind relationship with Kobe Blaise, which started in China. When she became pregnant, Emily went back to stay with her family in the USA, and Kobe returned to his nation, Cameroon. The single mom then raised baby Koban for 17 months. Upon Kobe’s arrival in the U.S., she quickly became pregnant again.

Kobe’s snarky comment about how Emily had put on weight when he first saw her in America had offended 90 Day Fiancé fans. Emily had gained sympathy back then, but over the next few episodes, she was crowned the season’s ultimate villain. Fans claimed that she was being extremely unfair to new dad Kobe, by not allowing him to be himself, or participate fully in parenting their son. If Emily micromanaging Kobe around Koban wasn’t enough, her parents did the same thing. Emily even bought her own engagement ring because she wasn’t sure Kobe would be able to purchase one. Even Kobe telling her to "shut the f**k up” didn’t stop Emily’s bossy nature from emerging.

Comments under Emily’s Instagram photos often featured criticism of her entitled behavior. They didn’t agree with Emily’s parents supporting her financially, and even funding her wedding with Kobe. However, the comments on her newer IG photos suggest that fans have started being kinder to her. For instance, Emily recently posted two side-by-side photos of herself in the same Nike shirt. Emily’s photo on the left shows her at a lower weight; it was from 2017. The newer picture on the right was from the same day she posted it online. Emily didn’t preach about weight loss, but instead gave her followers tips on how to live a healthier lifestyle. “Small little changes turn into big results,” Emily added in her caption.

Apart from Emily’s 90 Day Fiancé co-stars, such as Jibri Bell, telling her, “you got this,” and her supporters saying that she looked “phenomenal,” several TLC viewers were getting inspired by the Salina resident. One fan mentioned how working out after having a child is “soooo hard, especially with the sleep deprivation.” They wrote that Emily was doing well, as she wasn't giving up. “Hey, mom bods are mom bods. You’re fine!” wrote someone else. Fans thanked Emily for her advice, which they assured her was “doable.” Another one of Emily’s followers even told her, “girl you look better now with some meat on your bones.” They asked TLC star and mom Emily to not let the opinions of others ruin the way that she feels about her own body.

Emily’s weight loss journey really shouldn't be compared with the physical transformations of other 90 Day Fiancé cast members. She has admitted to struggling with her weight, and lost some unwanted pounds by 2018, just before she met Kobe and got pregnant. Emily has had two babies since then, and her body has undergone changes that are natural. However, she has been consistent with her hard work, and seems to never miss a day at the gym. She does workouts every day at dawn, before she begins her chores as a stay-at-home mom. The mean comments that reality TV star Emily gets may or may not affect her; however, the number of well-wishers that she has now may inspire the 90 Day Fiancé "villain" to do better.
