Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen shared an Instagram DM exchange between him and a critic on Thursday morning. The Bravo franchise host is no stranger to responding to social media users who send harsh comments or DMs. Cohen may live for clapbacks and "reads" with the housewives, but not when it comes to his life behind the scenes.

When the 53-year-old first had his son, Benjamin Allen, in February 2019, he shut down fans who were claiming that his dog, Wacha, was jealous of the newborn. Cohen had posted a series of playful Instagram stories hounding the pooch who had ripped up the infant's stuffed animal. Critics were quick to start dad-shaming Cohen, saying that Wacha was going to be a problem now that a baby was in the household. The Bravo star quickly responded to the unwarranted comments on his parenting and posted another series of Instagram stories addressing the issue. He told fans that it "wasn't that deep" and reiterated that Watcha was just a dog who had his eyes on the toy that he wanted to rip up, just like any dog would. To put the nail in the coffin, Cohen then posted a Valentine's Day picture of himself holding both his newborn and Macha, showing that there was nothing but love in his household.

Cohen blasted an Instagram user on Thursday who was attempting to parent-shame him in his messages. He posted the DM exchange on his Instagram and captioned it, "Social media in a nutshell..." Cohen asked the critic what he was doing wrong after they told him that he needed to be a better person for his 2-year-old son. The Instagram user seemed to be shocked to receive a response from the host saying, "Oh wow I didn't expect a response. I was just being a troll. You're doing fine. Sry."

After the Watch What Happens Live host confirmed that he is indeed a real person, the critic suggested that he not respond to trolls. "You probably shouldn't troll people though," Cohen responded. Bravolebrities seemed a little too familiar with encounters like this as they filled the comment section relating to their beloved host. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Dorit Kemsley commented, "e-v-e-r-y-t-i-m-e 😑."

Cohen should be the last celebrity that critics try to slam because he can clap back ten times harder, considering he's been trained to do so by housewife legends. If the Watch What Happens Live host can "read" Bravolebrities, he can do the same with plain janes.
