One of the most important things about Watch Dogs: Legion is ensuring that Tech Points are used properly. By acquiring these points out in the world, players are then able to go in and upgrade any of the different pieces of gear or skills that players have. Those who want to progress through the game faster and easier will want to use their Tech Points as often as they possibly can.

One of the most important upgrades for players to acquire early on in Watch Dog: Legion is the Deep Profiler. This upgrade will allow players to gather a little bit of extra information on NPCs in the world, which in turn will allow them to recruit characters that don't have a favorable view of DedSec. This guide shows players how to unlock the Deep Profiler and how to use it.

Watch Dogs: Legion - Getting The Deep Profiler

Watch Dogs Legion Review Profiler

In order to acquire the Deep Profiler upgrade, players will need to collect 25 Tech Points. There are many different ways to collect these points, like just by completing missions, but the fastest way to collect them is by finding them in restricted areas. They will typically be hidden very well in these different areas, so players will need to get creative and use gadgets like the Spiderbot or hack drones to reach normally unreachable areas.

Once players have acquired 25 Tech Points they then just need to head to the Tech lab in order to begin upgrading their different abilities. From here players will be able to snag the Deep Profiler. This piece of equipment will allow players to more deeply look into difficult to recruit characters backgrounds. This will show the player their schedules, as well as different leads for them to investigate for that character.

By investigating these leads the player will find ways to sway that character to DedSec's side even if they are employees of Albion. Players are then able to recruit that character and complete the recruitment mission like they normally do. The Deep Profiler allows players to recruit characters like Albion employees, police officers, or even guards at Buckingham Palace that may not have a favorable view of the player's organization.
