Fans can now watch one of Harley Quinn's brutal fight moves from Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) in slow-motion. Birds of Prey is the most recent film in the DC Extended Universe, this time focusing on just Harley Quinn and cutting Joker out of the picture. While Birds of Prey was a box office disappointment, the film faired generally well with audiences, partly because of the action and fight choreography.

With a team consisting of Harley Quinn, The Huntress, Black Canary, Renee Montoya, and Cassandra Cain, Birds of Prey was bound to have some epic fight sequences. One of the most memorable scenes comes when Harley Quinn is tasked with collecting a stolen diamond for Black Mask. Harley Quinn breaks into the Gotham City Police Department to rescue Cassandra Cain, who swallowed the diamond, where she encounters a bunch of goons that were sent to kill her. A brutal fight then takes place in the evidence lock-up, part of which can now be seen in slow motion.

Sam Hargrave recently shared a video of his fight sequence with Margot Robbie, where he flips in the air and lands on his neck. Hargrave is a popular American stuntman, having worked on several films in the MCU. In the final cut, Harley bounces the bat off the ground before it hits Hargrave's character in the face, but this slo-mo reveals that effect was, unsurprisingly, added in post-production. Hargrave's original Instagram post can be seen below.

Since Birds of Prey didn't do very well at the box office, it's unknown if Harley will be returning for another solo film. Robbie will definitely be appearing in James Gunn's The Suicide Squad next year, but the fate of films like Birds of Prey 2 and Gotham City Sirens is currently unknown. Birds of Prey's gruesome fight sequences like the one above helped the critical response of the film, but the amount of money Birds of Prey made at the box office will certainly be a deciding factor for whether Warner Bros. deems a sequel necessary.

Seeing stunts like the one above is a testament to Hargrave's skill as a stuntman. No wires were used to flip Hargrave and it doesn't seem like the stuntman was supposed to land on his neck either. Hargrave saying, "There was a point of no return there" indicates that he was supposed to do a complete flip, as landing on his neck in this way could have resulted in a serious injury. Having this clip slowed down even more than it was in the final cut of Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) will not only make people appreciate the fight sequence more but will likely remind people that Hollywood blockbusters couldn't be made without stunt workers like Hargrave.
