A new exploit has been discovered in Call of Duty: Warzone that allows players to get under the map in the stadium, effectively making them invisible and invincible to score easy victories. Warzone is Activision's response to the widely popular battle royale genre, pitting 150 players against each other to become the last team standing. Originally releasing as an extension of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the title has proven to be a massive hit, surpassing 100 million players ahead of Season 3's launch, and it's showing no signs of slowing down.

For the game's most recent season, developers have decided to drop a nuke on Warzone's map Verdansk, temporarily bringing players back to the Rebirth map before revealing the overhauled Verdansk '84. While the visual changes of the map are a welcome sight for fans of the latest title Call of Duty: Cold War, it hasn't come without its share of problems as well. Most notably, the game was plagued with server issues following the drop of the nuke, leaving several players with frustrating queueing errors.

In addition, as several players have recently noticed, a glitch in the new version of the map allows for clever cheaters to burrow their way underneath the stadium section of the map. From this position, teams can see and attack anyone walking on the map above them while remaining invisible and invincible to everyone else. Understandably, this exploit has angered players, leading people like Redditor TITANxRaven to post video evidence in the hopes that the bug will be fixed and cheaters punished for using it.

In the video, an entire team is shown under the game's map, picking off any player who walks over them for free wins. Experienced players will no doubt recognize the exploit, as a similar tactic has just recently been discovered at the airport as well. It seems that several glitches in the environment are occurring following Verdansk's visual overhaul, and it's leaving developers scrambling to fix every new exploit before fans turn away from what should be the game's biggest event yet following the announcements on the Season 3 roadmap.

Overall, the recent nuke event has been very successful in terms of fan excitement and player count, but there has been a serious struggle behind the scenes to keep everything from falling apart. Players had big expectations for the new event that were crushed by queueing errors and exploits that have been plaguing the launch of the new map. In spite of this, however, Call of Duty: Warzone is still going strong as one of the top battle royale games on the market, and fans are excited to see what could be coming next.
