Developer Raven Software has revealed the patch notes for Call of Duty: Warzone's latest update, which includes a number of weapon balance changes. The battle royale first-person shooter is constantly evolving, with updates and expansions serving to complete change the state of the game. Call of Duty: Warzone's midseason Season Five: Reloaded roadmap was recently launched, adding a number of new game modes and a new Operator.

Call of Duty: Warzone launched back in March 2020, but the ever-evolving nature of the game means that new content is always being added. The game's Season Five: Reloaded update was not a massive addition to the game, but it did include several new pieces of content for players to chew on. The new Clash game mode pits two teams of 50 players against each other, allowing for large-scale battles within the game's massive map of Verdansk. Another new game mode, Iron Trials '84, buffs player health in order to create even more challenging firefights. The game's current 80's theme is also complemented by the release of a playable Judge Dredd Warzone skin, allowing players to take the appearance of the United Kingdom's favorite ruthless law enforcer.

Call of Duty: Warzone developer Raven Software has released patch notes for the game's latest update, which went live on September 15. The update includes balance changes for several weapons, ensuring that no single gun is too overpowered or underpowered. The most notable weapon adjustments in the update pertain to the Krig 6 assault rifle, FARA 83 assault rifle, and Ops 9 submachine gun. All of these popular and powerful weapons have received various nerfs to ensure that they do not vastly outperform Call of Duty: Warzone's other guns.

Raven Software is committed to supporting Call of Duty: Warzone and its player base of battle royale fans. Weapon balance adjustments are a crucial aspect of this ongoing support, but these huge changes are also critical for maintaining player interest. Warzone is set to receive a massive new Pacific map to coincide with the November 5 launch of Call of Duty: Vanguard, which will take players back to World War II. The Pacific island map will feature unique environments such as caves and jungles, which is sure to shake up the title's typical urban landscape.

Call of Duty: Warzone's Krig 6 assault rifle and OTs 9 submachine gun have been powerhouses for quite some time, allowing skilled players to dispatch enemies almost instantly. The game's recent update has slightly reduced some key statistics of these weapons, lowering them from instant kill tools to simple deadly weapons in the right hands. By continuing to maintain the competitive balance in Call of Duty: Warzone, Raven Software is able to cultivate a positive multiplayer community.
