The latest trailer for Season 4 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and its Warzone multiplayer mode have teased the arrival of the much-awaited Kriss Vector submachine gun to the game, among other things. Season 3 of Modern Warfare began back on April 8, 2020, and with each season lasting only around eight weeks, Season 4 is expected to arrive early next week.

It was previously teased that Captain Price, one of the series’ most iconic characters, will finally be available as an Operator in Modern Warfare and Warzone when Season 4 begins. It was also previously leaked that both the Vector and the Galil Ace were going to be included in the new season, along with other updates and new content such as other new operators, maps, banners, game modes, and more.

The new Season 4 trailer on the Call of Duty YouTube channel shows off snippets of some of the main events from the previous seasons and ends with a shot featuring not only Captain Price and Kyle “Gaz” Garrick, one of the playable characters from the game’s single-player campaign that has also been teased as a new playable operator in Season 4, but also the previously leaked Vector and Galil. The trailer also finally reveals the official release date of Season 4 on June 3, 2020.

While the trailer itself didn’t show a lot of details on the two upcoming weapons, the previously mentioned leak from Reddit user JeaneJWE gives fans a glimpse of what they may expect from the two weapons when the new season rolls around next week. According to the leak, the Vector will be referred to as the Fennec in the game and it, along with the Galil, will feature several barrel and stock options. The leak also notably reveals a special magazine for the Galil that may effectively turn it into a sniper rifle while the Vector/Fennec may feature a magazine that’s almost identical to one that is featured on the Striker.

The addition of Captain Price, Gaz, and the two new weapons to Modern Warfare and Warzone is pretty exciting. Activision has done a pretty good job of not only keeping the game fresh with regular updates and balance changes but also with new content with the arrival of every new season. The company recently faced some trouble with Modern Warfare and Warzone server issues during Memorial Day but, hopefully, those issues have been resolved and won’t be a hindrance once Season 4 launches.
