A Call of Duty: Warzone player has accurately recreated one of the memorable scenes from Rambo: First Blood 2 in the game. First Blood 2 is the second installment of the massively popular Rambo franchise, which stars action movie legend Sylvester Stallone as the titular character. The popularity of the series and the Rambo character has not only inspired other movies since its release but also several video games. Rambo was also added as a playable character in Mortal Kombat 11 last year.

Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War developers Raven Software and Treyarch released the games’ Season Three Reloaded update earlier this week, which includes collaborative content for Warzone, Black Ops Cold War multiplayer, and Zombies featuring both Rambo and Die Hard. The content update includes new maps, game modes, and more. There are also bundles that will give players access to Rambo and John McClane skins, finishing moves, weapon blueprints, and more.

Reddit user Qlkov shared his recreation of the iconic scene from Rambo: First Blood 2 on the CODWarzone subreddit. The sequence involves the player walking into the makeshift CIA outpost in one of the hangars in Verdansk’s military base area with an M60 light machine gun and shooting the place up, just like the scene from the movie. While the outpost isn’t a completely accurate copy of the location in the movie, as it lacks a lot of the furniture seen in the movie and there are no CIA agents present to witness the carnage, the location and clip are still pretty close to the movie sequence.

The CIA outpost is one of the Rambo and Die Hard-inspired locations that have been added to Verdansk with the new Season Three Reloaded update. The other new locations include the Nakatomi Plaza from Die Hard which has been relocated from Los Angeles to Verdansk’s Downtown and several campsites around the map have been turned into Survival Camps that are inspired by Rambo: First Blood Part II. Warzone’s Rebirth Island map also received changes with the new update, including a new Daytime mode that’s meant to make the map brighter and increase visibility.

The addition of Rambo and Die Hard content to Call of Duty: Warzone feels like a pretty good fit and is not only a great nostalgia trip for older fans of the two franchises but also helps introduce the two iconic action movie characters to a younger generation. Perhaps this will be the first of other future action movie crossovers.
