The Sten is a fairly decent SMG in the Warzone metagame right now. With a brand new island introduced in the Pacific Caldera update, many players want to know which guns have been vastly nerfed or buffed. It's common for older guns to get the boot so that newer Weapons from the Pacific update can fill their slot. Those players looking to use a Sten will want to increase their attack damage and speed to get some advantage over opponents. The thing that makes this weapon shine is its fire rate, and using the proper attachments can make the Sten a beast of a weapon to use.
To unlock it, the player will need to reach level 10. Fortunately, this method works for both Warzone and Call of Duty Vanguard. Since their progression system is so closely tied together, if a weapon is unlocked in one game, it will be instantly available in the other. Therefore, reaching level 10 should only take an hour or two of playing. Additionally, Warzone players should enter the game's Plunder mode since it allows them to collect kills and level up fast in Warzone. Once the player reaches level 10, they can begin to build their ultimate Sten loadout.
After unlocking the Sten, the player will need to level it up to unlock its attachments. Using it in battles and collecting kills is the fastest way to grind for XP. Each level will unlock the next attachment on the list. As mentioned, the progression in the game is shared with Vanguard. Play a few rounds of Team Deathmatch or Domination while using this weapon for more XP. Players should try to unlock every attachment available for the best customization options. Taking advantage of the Warzone's Double XP Tokens can also make this process faster. These are the best attachments to use on the Sten.

Fortunately, many of the Pacific Caldera's new locations are indoors. While it's not the best SMG in the game at the moment, future patches could change that in an instant.
