[UPDATE 29/03/21: The Drake blueprint bug has been fixed, as per Raven Software.]

The blueprint of a new weapon known as the Ice King is to be removed from the Call Of Duty store following reports that the weapon causes game-breaking glitches to appear within Call Of Duty: Warzone. Warzone unfortunately is no stranger to random bugs as the mode has continued to be plagued with them, especially in the months following the release and integration of Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

Call Of Duty: Warzone has made a massive splash since its release in March of 2020 with millions of players per month. Activision's take on the battle royale craze saw its own twist with personal loadouts being added to the game as well as an opportunity to respawn within the game following a victory in the infamous Gulag. Unfortunately, the game has seen various bugs, exploits, and cheats that have made it difficult for many to enjoy the game. The list of these bugs grows long but more recently, a new form of the invisibility glitch has been found in Warzone. The community continuously calls for nerfs or adjustments to fix these many issues but it seems that every week there is a new one that players have to deal with.

According to PCGamer, the Ice King blueprint is a variant of the effective assault rifle, the Krig-6, that players were able to obtain by purchasing the Necro King bundle from the in-game store. The bundle added some pretty insane ice-themed cosmetics to the gun, complete with a blue glow and wings. But it did not take long for players to being reporting bugs that they would encounter when this blueprint was equipped. Reports suggest that your guns would just disappear in Warzone with this weapon equipped as well as intense visual glitching surrounding the weapon's barrel making it impossible to use.

As a result, the bundle had to be removed from the Call Of Duty store but no official comment has been made to address the players that did in fact purchase the bundle that has since been removed from the game. This is the second glitch pertaining to the game's weapons to show up recently since earlier this week the new R1 Shadowhunter crossbow was released early which allowed some players to acquire the weapon before it was removed again. There have been many glitches similar to this that have cropped up over Warzone's lifespan.

The primary issue that many players have with the game is the constantly shifting meta of weapons. As soon as Activision patches one weapon for being extremely powerful, another one takes its place as the game's balance is shifted. This issue became increasingly prevalent since Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's release which saw all of that game's weapons and equipment arrive in Warzone. This has made the game's landscape everchanging as the studio struggles weekly to balance any weapon setup that crops up that is over-effective or glitched. Hopefully, this new glitch can be picked up
