Although Call of Duty: Warzone is one of the biggest games on Twitch, it can cause issues for streamers like TimTheTatman. TimTheTatman is being targeted by a Warzone cheater who is intentionally finding ways into Tim's games to kill him while also having access to his stream.
TimTheTatman is known for being a bit easy to rile up, so it's no surprise players are using this to try and get him going. There are plenty of dirty Warzone tactics, but stream sniping is definitely one of the worst. Players can unfairly pull up someone's stream, get live feedback on where they are and what they're doing, and then follow them around. For those that are really good at the game, it's even better as it allows a player to follow them and basically clear the way for them until they can steal the win. That's almost what happened to TimTheTatman in a recent live stream.
TimTheTatman was gunning for a new personal record of over 30 kills in Warzone and was rather close to accomplishing it until another player started harassing him. The player has been targeting him and creating new accounts to avoid blocks from TimTheTatman. What makes matters worse is that the player appears to be cheating, meaning they would've gotten an easy Warzone win. Thankfully, the player just killed TimTheTatman and then left the game, allowing the squad to win with ease. It's somewhat funny but definitely highlights a larger issue with Warzone.
Warzone is plagued with players who simply don't play by the rules. Given the game is over 100 million players strong, it's no surprise that there are some who want to ruin the fun for others, but it has grown a bit out of control. PC hackers have been a notable issue since launch and it has grown to be an even bigger deal thanks to console cross-play, meaning console players who aren't too used to major cheating issues are much more aware of it.
Although Activision has banned thousands of Warzone cheaters, it hasn't totally combatted the actual ease of being able to cheat. Players don't seem to mind being banned, because they can just create a new account for a free game. Players like TimTheTatman continue to grow infuriated by the ease and frequency of cheaters, especially when they're now getting targeted by the evildoers while streaming Warzone.
