Streaming superstar Dr Disrespect has highlighted one of the biggest problems in Call of Duty: Warzone after being attacked by a Warzone helicopter with no audio. Call of Duty: Warzone has received multiple patches, fixes, and updates since it first released, but players are still experiencing a number of glitches.

Warzone is a free-to-play multiplayer game that has taken the world by storm since its release in 2020, becoming one of the most popular in the battle royale genre. While the Activision title is widely commended for its gameplay, including limited-time events and seasonal content, the game has struggled with cheaters. Cheating is a problem in many free-to-play games due to the ease of being able to make a new account, but Activision is seemingly cracking down on the problem in Warzone. Thousands of bans have been issued since release thanks to semi-regular CoD: Warzone banwaves.

Along with cheating, another big Warzone problem is glitches. Bugs in the game can vary from very minimal to potentially game-breaking, sometimes introducing new exploits for players to take advantage of. One disastrous bug was caught on camera by Dr Disrespect and shared to Reddit by Taiizor. The video shows the streamer getting killed in-game by a very quiet helicopter. In the clip, Dr Dis is seen dropping into the map without hearing the attack helicopter nearby, not due to any fault of his own, but because the audio glitched and the helicopter was rendered completely silent. After the frustrating experience, Dr Disrespect joked: "I might uninstall this game after today."

The clip has gained traction on Reddit due to the number of players who've experienced a similar problem with audio. Hundreds of gamers flocked to the post to share similar frustrations, with many also calling out audio failures when it comes to hearing enemy footsteps. Developer Raven Software is continuing to release regular patches for glitches in Call of Duty, but there's no word on when the audio might be fixed for good. Audio glitches aren't the biggest problem in the game right now, with cheat bans and Warzone players turning invisible being just two of many current issues Call of Duty: Warzone players are struggling with.

Glitches, game breaks, and bugs are especially common problems in online service games, where new content updates can often introduce unforeseen technical issues and problems into the mix. Call of Duty: Warzone's attack helicopter has been an especially notorious addition to the game, having caused many frustrations for players since it was first introduced to Warzone back in December 2020. The aerial vehicle has been associated with many exploits utilized by savvy gamers who don't mind bending the rules to win. Earlier this summer, the mini-gun-equipped Warzone helicopter was removed after players discovered how it could be used as an exploit to turn them invisible. As an ever-evolving online game, Warzone will continue to experience glitches, and the developers will continue to find fixes. Hopefully, Call of Duty: Warzone's audio issues will make it to Raven Software's agenda soon.
