Call of Duty: Warzone players are running into a bug that’s causing them to lose ammo and cash by dropping it in the wrong spot on the map. Last week, developer Infinity Ward updated players about a long-running graphics bug that’s been causing even more havok, turning players into whirling tornadoes of glitched textures and colors that some players worry may have the potential to trigger seizures.

Both Warzone and Modern Warfare entered Season 5 recently, bringing all kinds of changes to the games. Warzone’s map was updated to open up the long-awaited stadium area as well as a constantly running loot train. On the Modern Warfare side, the game’s multiplayer mode saw updates that added new weapons, maps, and even game modes. Call of Duty’s next battle pass also kicked, giving players the chance to earn even more rewards.

While players have plenty of new content to enjoy in Call of Duty Season 5, they’re also still experiencing some major bugs. As Game Rant spotted, Reddit user ohrules recently posted a video showing that items dropped on a particular set of stairs leading to Warzone’s subway station can get swallowed up into the level, never to be seen again. According to the player, they lost $5,000 of in-game cash to the bug before realizing that the stairs were eating items. The Reddit post is full of comments with players sharing similar stories, some saying that their experiences with items falling through the map go back multiple seasons.

Losing items to a glitch is certainly disappointing, but lots of players seem more focused on uncovering a mystery hidden within Warzone than actually winning matches right now. Along with the game’s Season 5 changes, Infinity Ward also introduced an alternate reality game that has players hunting down clues both in-game and in the real world. Players are convinced that the game will lead them to a reveal of Call of Duty 2020, rumored to be titled Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and the progress of the ARG so far seems to indicate that they’re right.

Despite all the positive changes for Call of Duty this season, one thing that developer Infinity Ward hasn’t done is fully clean house on some irritating and progress-arresting bugs. Given how massive of a game Call of Duty is, that’s certainly a task easier said than done, but that doesn’t make it any easier to be on the receiving end of one.
