Season 4 of Call of Duty is coming, with big changes coming to Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. This includes brand new operators, weapons, vehicles, game modes (for both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone), and new content for Zombies. In short, there is something for everyone in Season 4.

Call of Duty Season 4 was announced with a trailer on June 10. The new season is slated to go live on June 17, bringing with it a new wrinkle to the ongoing story of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. One of the biggest changes will be as a result of Stitch's plan, which caused satellites to fall out of the sky and alter the Warzone map. The locations of some of these satellites will also be the locations of new multiplayer maps. Now, Treyarch has revealed

According to the newest video from Treyarch, several big changes are coming to Warzone and Black Ops Cold War. On the Warzone side, the gulag has been updated to be a training version of a part of the Hijacked map. There is also a new vehicle, the dirtbike, which is better suited for traversing the wide-open map but leaves the player a bit more vulnerable. Finally, Warzone will get an update to the Resurgence mode as well as the new Payload mode, which is an objective-based 36v36 mode as attackers move the payload through Verdansk, while the defenders try to stop them.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will also release the first combined-arms map in Collateral. Of course, Hijacked is also returning to Call of Duty Cold War as well as Rush from Black Ops 2. Jackal is the brand new operator coming to Black Ops Cold War, after being first shown during the Season 4 cinematic. Salah and Weaver (from the original Black Ops) will also be joining the team of operators. New weapons in Season 4 include the MG 82, C58, OTS 9, a nail gun, as well as a mace. For Zombies mode, there will also be a new area of Outbreak, the zoo. Players can also get new intel and artifacts that will push the story along.

While Call of Duty Season 3 had a bit more drama to its start with a nuclear explosion massively changing the Warzone map and sending players back to 1984, Season 4 is still bringing plenty of changes. Although Treyarch previously teased that Verdansk and Warzone could be in danger, falling satellites hardly seem comparable. Regardless, it certainly seems that there will be plenty for players to explore.
