Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 has plenty of options for players to use when it comes to Sniper and Marksman Rifles. Through its past year of playtime, the SP-R 208 Marksman Rifle has proven to be one of the more dominant forces in Verdansk. Thanks to its speed and accuracy, the SP-R is an excellent choice for players who prefer to finish fights as quickly as possible with some distance between themselves and the enemy.

Though the SP-R 208 has seen some drastic changes to its in-game mechanics, Warzone Season 4 saw no changes to the Marksman Rifle. Its functionality seems to be here for good in Season 4, allowing players to fully take advantage of the SP-R 208's far-off combat capabilities in Verdansk.

Warzone: The Best SP-R 208 Loadout (Season 4)

The SP-R 208 Season 4 attachments will seem familiar to its long-term fans. Changes haven't been brought to the weapon in some time, leaving the Marksman Rifle unchanged from the end of Season 3. The best SP-R 208 attachments are:

  • Monolithic Suppressor (Muzzle) - Perfect for snipers as it hides players from enemy radars and boosts damage range.
  • SP-R 26″ (Barrel) - Increasing damage range, bullet velocity, and accuracy.
  • Tac Laser (Laser) - Decreasing aim-down sight time, increasing accuracy and control.
  • Solozero SP-R 28mm (Optic) - 7x magnification sight.
  • .338 Lapua Mag 5-R Mag (Ammunition) - Powerful ammunition that increases overall damage output and bullet velocity.

Because the SP-R is meant to be a quick peek and re-peek Marksman Rifle, players will want to pair this weapon with another weapon that allows them to retain this ability up close. The LC10 SMG is a great weapon to pair with the SP-R because of its mobility and accuracy in up-close situations. Perks to consider are Double Time, Overkill, and Amped. Amped and Double Time include additional mobility with Double Time's sprint increase and Amped's increased weapon swap speed.

While Overkill allows players to get both their SP-R and second primary weapon, they should consider grabbing a second load-out for another perk - Ghost. Ghost will hide players from enemy radar when a UAV is active, giving the at-distance marksman a better chance of staying out of sight when firing off shots. The close-range encounters will inevitably happen, and players will want to make sure that no mobility is sacrificed - even to finish enemies. Equip a throwing knife and stun grenade to slow enemies down and finish the downed ones without sacrificing ammo and reload time.
