Season 4 of Call of Duty Warzone and Vanguard will bring many new features including new weapons like the UGM-8 Light Machine Gun. Some of the new features coming are brand-new Operators, game modes, a rework of the Caldera map, and four new weapons: the UGM-8 LMG, Marco 5 SMG, Push Dagger Melee, and Vargo-S Assault Rifle. This weapon is available immediately upon the June 22 Season 4 update.
The UGM-8 Light Machine Gun is a highly mobile LMG with a blistering fire rate. It excels at creating suppressing fire and pushing enemy positions. However, the weapon will need some boosts to the damage statistic through a good loadout at the beginning of Warzone Season 4.
Since this weapon will be available to use immediately in Call of Duty Warzone and Vanguard at the start of the new season, players will be looking to unlock the UGM-8 LMG as quickly as possible. There are multiple ways to unlock it now that it is available at the beginning of the new season.
Methods For Unlocking The UGM-8 LMG In Warzone And Vanguard
Most new weapons that get released at the beginning of new seasons can be unlocked through the tier system of Battle Pass. The Battle Pass has 100 tiers of content and rewards for players to progress through and earn once the Battle Pass is purchased. In order to advance through these tiers, players just need to play the game of either Warzone or Vanguard. Sometimes, there are temporary events where Double Tier progress can be gained, and it doubles the rate at which players get Battle Pass Tiers through games played.
Through the Battle Pass system, everyone can unlock and enjoy tiers of free rewards. All functional content that has an impact on game balance, including base weapons and attachments, can be unlocked easily by just playing the game. The free tier system stops at tier 20. The purchased Battle Pass of 1,000 COD points stops at tier 100 and includes a 1,300 COD points refund for players that make it through all 100 tiers by the end of the season. The second purchased option of Battle Pass for 2,400 COD points will start players at tier 25.
This UGM-8 LMG will be able to be unlocked at tier 31 in this Battle Pass tier system. This means players must purchase the Battle Pass to unlock this weapon. There will be an in-game challenge after the season is over required to unlock the weapon for players who do not reach the Battle Pass tier by the end of the season or for players who do not wish the purchase anything. Currently, the weapon is not available for purchase in a store bundle containing a Blueprint for the weapon in Warzone and Vanguard.
Warzone is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC.
