On May 26th Disney+ released a trailer announcing a sequel series to the popular 1988 fantasy film Willow, with Warwick Davies reprising his role as the titular character. The show is currently slated to release on 30th November 2022.

How He Got Cast in Star Wars
According to Looper, Warwick was a big Star Wars fan as a child, and in 1981 (when he was eleven years old) his grandmother heard a story on the radio about how they were looking for short actors to play the Ewoks. Davis wasn't so enticed by the acting aspect at the time, but was interested in being able to talk to "Luke" and "Leia."
This one event kickstarted Davis's long career. It is what led to him getting his first role of many in Star Wars. Davis might not have discovered his love of acting if it wasn't for the serendipity of his grandmother hearing the call for short actors.
