Netflix's Warrior Nun, and its incredibly talented international cast, are back for season 2. Created by Simon David Barry, Warrior Nun season 2 picks up from season 1's cliffhanger as Ava Silva (Alba Baptista) and the Order of the Cruciform Sword face the return of the angel Adriel (William Miller). But not even the powers of Ava as the Halo Bearer and the tactical combat skills of the OCS may be enough to stop Adriel's new reign on Earth.
Warrior Nun is an impressive international production filmed in and around Andalusia, Spain. Based on the comic book Warrior Nun Areala by Ben Dunn, Warrior Nun changed the mythology to center on Ava, an orphaned quadriplegic who was murdered but was miraculously resurrected by the otherworldly power source called the Halo. With a new lease on life, Ava initially resisted her calling to join the OCS, and she set out to become the last Warrior Nun. But Ava and the OCS were tricked into releasing Adriel from his prison beneath the Vatican. In Warrior Nun season 2, the OCS must come back together under Ava's leadership to stop Adriel's plans to conquer the world. Warrior Nun season 2 reunites almost the entire season 1 cast and introduces new characters in the war against Adriel.
