Paul Bettany has revealed a behind-the-scenes photo of his WandaVision character Vision in glasses. The Disney+ series kicked off Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in January 2021. It proved to be an exciting start to the franchise's shows with the streamer, earning positive reactions from viewers and critics alike. In addition to deepening the relationship between Wanda Maximoff and Vision, it saw Scarlet Witch's powers reach their full potential, teeing up her role in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of MadnessWandaVision also introduced a couple of exciting characters to the MCU, including Agatha Harkness and the adult version of Monica Rambeau, who will next appear in the Captain Marvel sequel The Marvels.

Considering the success of WandaVision, it's not surprising many are hoping for season 2. However, that seems unlikely as of now, with those associated with the show, including star Elizabeth Olsen, maintaining it's not in the cards. This is in contrast to Marvel's most recent Disney+ series, Loki, which confirmed season 2 during its season finale. For now, it seems viewers will have to be content with any behind-the-scenes content WandaVision's cast and creative team are willing to share from the making of season 1.

Bettany recently delivered, posting a fun behind-the-scenes photo. In it, he's dressed as Vision and wears the character's makeup, along with a pair of glasses. Check out Bettany's image and funny caption below:

The glasses actually suit Vision quite well, which makes sense considering Bettany wore a couple of different types for WandaVision. As highlighted in one of the show's early posters, he wore them during episode 1's homage to '50s TV and again in the '70s-focused episode 3. However, Vision only wore the glasses when pretending to be human, so seeing them with his red skin is an amusing treat.

Bettany's photo also provides a neat behind-the-scenes look at how he's transformed into Vision. As seen in the Disney+ documentary Assembled: The Making of WandaVision, Bettany's appearance during filming is quite different from the final product. For example, Vision looks particularly absurd before Bettany's ears are CGI-ed out, a reveal that was the subject of much joking on social media following the WandaVision documentary. It's clear a lot goes in to making Vision come to life, from Bettany's performance to those who work on the character's makeup, costume, and CGI. Hopefully, more appearances by Bettany in the MCU are on the way after WandaVision.
