A WandaVision poster from Disney's D23 event teases fans with Scarlet Witch's classic costume. Apart from San Diego Comic-Con, D23 was one of the biggest events this year for Marvel announcements. A lot of the details for the show are still shrouded in mystery since the WandaVision release date is more than a year away, but fans haven't been completely left in the dark.
Earlier this year, WandaVision was confirmed and soon after that, a '50s setting was revealed. At San Diego Comic-Con, news dropped that the series would also take place after Avengers: Endgame, which just created more questions than answers. WandaVision has also been described as "half classic sitcom, half MCU spectacular," but that wasn't the only thing revealed about the show at D23.
A new poster unveiled at D23 from artist Andy Park not only confirms the '50s setting, but also teases Scarlet Witch's classic costume. The poster shows Wanda and Vision sitting on a couch in front of a glowing red TV, but their shadows in the corner of the room are their superhero costumes. Park's artwork can be seen in his Twitter post below:

The exact plot for WandaVision isn't known just yet, but fans do know that Scarlet Witch will appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. WandaVision will also connect to Doctor Strange 2, which could hint at how Vision will come back to life in the Disney+ series. Scarlet Witch could master sorcery or possibly even be interacting with a different Vision from the Multiverse. Fans don't know quite yet how this storyline will connect to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but Disney will have six episodes to explain it in WandaVision.
With the release date of Disney+ getting closer, Disney is no doubt trying to tease fans as much as possible with these Marvel projects so that their streaming service can be a success. That being said, this poster might be all fans get for a while since Disney will be heavily promoting The Falcon and the Winter Soldier since that series will be released in Fall 2020. That being said, this poster should hold fans over until the next update on WandaVision. As Park mentioned in his post, the series looks to be different from most MCU movies and TV shows. Fans have also been wanting to see Scarlet Witch's comic-accurate costume for quite some time, and this WandaVision poster teases that they might finally get their wish.
