WandaVision wraps up production. The upcoming Marvel Studios series for Disney+ will see Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany reprise their respective roles as star-crossed lovers Wanda Maximoff and Vision. Black Widow screenwriter Jac Schaeffer will serve as its showrunner with additional cast members such as Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Teyonah Parris as grown-up Monica Rambeau, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo and Kathryn Hahn in an unknown role.

Plot specifics for WandaVision have been tightly under wraps, but production started a while back with set photos popping online giving fans a look at some of the characters and set pieces for the film. Described as Marvel's first sitcom, the six-episode series is also confirmed to connect to Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness with Olsen's Wanda factoring in the sequel's equally-mysterious narrative. Originally slated for an early 2021 roll out, WandaVision has been pushed forward to a December 2020 release, meaning there will be two Marvel Studios original series on Disney+ this year - the other one being  The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Now, it's confirmed that WandaVision has already finished production, which was followed by a wrap party, evidenced by photos from the said gathering. Crew member Taylor Grabowsky recently shared a group image from the celebrations in Skyline Park Atlanta. Check out the snap that was posted on the source's official Instagram account below:

Interestingly, despite having a later release date compared to The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, WandaVision finishes principal photography first. Both shows filmed primarily in Atlanta, with the Anthony Mackie/Sebastian Stan team-up even beginning work a month before the sitcom-inspired show. All that being said, it's not a barometer for their respective qualities. Assuming that the description for WandaVision is accurate, much of its scenes would've been filmed in a closed set. Granted that they've ventured outdoors, the theme of the show would mostly call for closed production. Meanwhile, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier appears to be more in line with what's been seen in the MCU thus far with its action-adventure components integral to its narrative.

Aside from filming itself, one would also need to consider how much work there still is in WandaVision during its post-production. Between Wanda and Vision's respective skill sets, not to mention its time-traveling element, it's safe to say that it will involve a lot of VFX work. The Super Bowl spot that debuted fans' first look at the show confirmed this, as it visits different decades, mimicking popular sitcoms during that era. It's also important to factor possible reshoots in case they need to do some additional work. So while principal photography is done, the series still has a long way to go before it's ready for broadcast.
