Disney revealed the meaning behind Wanda's lullaby in WandaVision episode three, "Now in Color." Nearly all of WandaVision's third episode is dedicated to Scarlet Witch's tumultuous pregnancy. After finding out she's pregnant at the end of episode two, Wanda and Vision have a local doctor come to their house. The doctor reveals that Wanda is further along than the titular pair expected. From that point on, things go haywire.

In the span of the episode's thirty minute runtime, Wanda experiences all the trials and tribulations a pregnant mother experiences in nine months in a few short minutes. Time passes quite quickly and before she knows it, Wanda is in labor with Geraldine (a.k.a. Monica Rambeau) by her side. When Wanda finally gives birth to the twins, calm settles over the episode and Wanda sings a lullaby in her native Sokovian language after revealing her own twin status to Monica.

The lullaby remained a mystery until some eagle-eyed viewers noticed that Disney translated the lullaby into Portuguese for the show's subtitles. According to The Direct, the lullaby is short and sweet, with Wanda lovingly crooning to her newborn twins. Naturally, the lullaby contains an Easter egg or two that any dedicated fan will pick up on. Most notably, the lullaby hints at Monica Rambeau's eventual hero status.

I waited for you

and this day has come.

My heart became a home full of light,

full of light.

While the sweet moment is seemingly innocent, there's more to the lullaby than meets the eye. Monica Rambeau is heavily featured in the episode, supporting Wanda through labor. Monica's presence in future MCU projects has been known for some time, with the character set to appear in 2022's Captain Marvel 2. Which hero she'll become, though, remains a mystery. It seems too soon for Monica to take over for Carol Danvers as Captain Marvel and the comics provide plenty of alternatives.

One of those alternatives is Photon, a mantle taken on by Monica Rambeau. Photon's powers are light-based and nothing can be discounted as coincidence in the MCU. With Monica standing right next to Wanda while she sings the lullaby, the connection seems clear. Unfortunately, shortly after Wanda sings the lullaby she ejects Monica from Westview in an unseen moment, prompted by the fact that Monica acknowledges Wanda's brother's death at the hands of Ultron. WandaVision certainly has a lot of mysteries to unravel and, with only three episodes down, we're only in the early stages of finding out what those are. All these Easter eggs are there for a reason and it seems as if we may be finding out more about Monica Rambeau's mysterious past before her next appearance in the MCU.
