A WandaVision fan has created a brutal TikTok about Wanda Maximoff's grief over losing Vision. Elizabeth Olsen has been playing Wanda in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. In her first appearance, Wanda and her fraternal twin brother, Pietro (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), are introduced as Sokovian natives who joined HYDRA and agreed to undergo experiments due to a deep-seated hatred for Tony Stark. To avenge their parents' death, the pair briefly join Ultron before realizing his genocidal intentions. Ultimately, Wanda and Pietro join the Avengers in the battle to stop Ultron, which results in Pietro’s tragic death.

Following the events of Age of Ultron, Wanda is relocated to the United States and continues working with the Avengers. As explained in Disney+’s WandaVision, Vision (Paul Bettany) — whose body was originally intended for Ultron — is there for Wanda as she mourns Pietro. Following the events of Captain America: Civil War, Wanda and Vision run away together, and, in Avengers: Infinity War, it’s revealed that they’ve fallen in love. Unfortunately, Wanda, and then Thanos, destroy the Mind Stone in Vision’s head, resulting in his death. WandaVision sees Wanda use the town of Westview to create an idyllic life in which she can live happily ever after with Vision in a false reality that cannot last.

User Nate Redmount recently shared a TikTok featuring Lil Nas X's “Thats What I Want,” which savagely trolled Scarlet Witch losing Vision. The video contains the previously-memed caption “Fun fact: characters wearing red usually don’t have vision." It first shows a poster promoting Netflix's iconic blind superhero, Daredevil, followed by an image of Wanda Maximoff.

Wanda has a tragic backstory and, between her parents, brother and Vision, has essentially been grieving her entire life. The characters’ circumstances essentially made her a villain in WandaVision as she inadvertently enslaved civilians to create her sitcom-inspired reality. In the end, she dismantles the Hex, forced to say goodbye to her husband and children. However, WandaVision’s final post-credits scene sees Scarlet Witch experimenting with the Dark Hold as her children’s voices cry for help. Olsen is set to reprise her role in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, with many theorizing she may be a problem for Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch). Coincidentally, the Sorcerer Supreme will appear next in Spider-Man: No Way Home, a film heavily rumored to feature Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock/Daredevil from the beloved Netflix series.

It remains to be seen if Scarlet Witch will ever have Vision. WandaVision's version of the hero created through part of the Mind Stone is gone, although he did jog White Vision’s memory before fading away. This may have indeed made White Vision the "true" Vision, paving the way for the clone's ability for emotion and reason. However, the MCU may also take a cue from the comics and make White Vision simply an evil version of Vision, who is simultaneously obsessed with Wanda. Regardless, Bettany has expressed a desire to continue his professional relationship with Marvel Studios, a decision that would please many loyal fans devastated by WandaVision's ending. For now, these viewers will have to be careful of more savage interpretations of the beloved characters death, which are surely still to come.
