MCU fans were treated to a fabulous team-up on last week’s WandaVision, the Disney+ show meant to open the door to Phase 4. Fan favorite characters Jimmy Woo (Randall Park from Ant-Man) and Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings from Thor) were shown working with SWORD on the outside of Westview, delighting fans with their comedic chemistry.

Park spoke to Screen Rant about the honor he felt in reprising his role for such a purpose, Jimmy’s love of card tricks, and how his appearance here might connect to the larger MCU.

What has Jimmy Woo been up to since Ant Man and The Wasp?

Randall Park: Assuming that he wasn't lost in the blip, my guess is he's been solving cases. Just sticking to his job, trying to figure out what happened to half the world, but also working a little bit on his close-up magic. I think he definitely has invested some time in those card tricks.

That's what I was gonna ask you, the reason I don't think he was blipped was because he had to keep working on that card trick. Did you have to actually learn that card trick? How excited were you to bring that back to this?

Randall Park: Oh my gosh, I was so excited. I thought it was such a cool little thing. I didn't expect so many people to remember and make that connection to Ant Man and The Wasp, because it happened so quickly in WandaVision. But I was so excited about that. It's those little things, those attention to detail things, that makes Marvel so cool.

But I think I got maybe a couple of days to work on that card trick. I worked on it pretty hard, and I don't think I did too many takes of it. I think I nailed it each time.

Having you and Kat Dennings on screen together is a real big treat for MCU fans. What are the chances that we can get the two of you in a spin-off? Maybe Agents of ATLAS?

Randall Park: Hey, I would love that. I'm hearing a lot of feedback about our camaraderie and the way we work together. That camaraderie is real. I love Kat; I think she's so amazing and so fun to work with, to work off of and to play with in these scenes. If that were to come up again, I do it in a heartbeat.

WandaVision Episode 4 - Jimmy Woo Card Trick

One of the things brought up in this episode is the mystery informant. When will we start to learn more about the mystery informant, and can you give me any backstory on on what that is?

Randall Park: That's a good question. That's a good question that I don't know how to navigate without... I'll just say keep watching.

It's good seeing Jimmy on the East coast. Will your presence in WandaVision effect or connect to a Quantumania at all?

Randall Park: I don't know. But that would be cool. Either way, he is not stuck in the bay. That's for sure. We'll see. I haven't heard anything about that. I don't want to presume anything.

My hope is that Jimmy does come back around, just because I love playing the character so much, and just the honor of being in the MCU. But if it were to end with WandaVision, I'd be happy with that. Just because this show is so groundbreaking and so fun.

I'm really hoping that we get an Office style episode where you could play that Jim Halpert role.

Randall Park: That's right. That's right. That would be cool.
