WandaVision's Super Bowl trailer provided fans their first look at the upcoming Disney+ series, and it features the perfect Olsen Twins Easter egg from Full House. Starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany as the titular characters Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch, and Vision, WandaVision takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame, and its story will directly connect to Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Led by showrunner Jac Schaeffer, WandaVision will feature some familiar faces like Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis and Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, as well as debut Teyonah Parris as grown-up Monica Rambeau, and Katherine Hahn in an undisclosed role.

With its release date pushed from next year to this December, Marvel Studios has begun promoting WandaVision. Production for the show has been in full swing for quite a while now, with set photos hinting at what audiences can expect from the narrative. The footage revealed via the WandaVision spot at this year's Super Bowl, which also included teasers for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki, suggests that the series is mining inspiration from iconic sitcoms — including Full House. And considering that Elizabeth Olsen's real-life sisters, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, got their start in the family-oriented project, it makes sense that Marvel snuck in the perfect reference to them in the WandaVision teaser.

The aforementioned shot features Wanda and Vision in the '80s/'90s timeline. The particular bit has a several visual references from other sitcoms during that era with Wanda wearing an ensemble reminiscent of Marcy D'Arcy's (Amanda Bearse) look in Married... with Children. Meanwhile, the yellow couch in the shot is almost the same as the Keatons' in Family Ties. However, arguably WandaVision's biggest inspiration is from Full House. The structure of their house is similar to the show's iconic San Francisco home, complete with the L-shaped carpeted stairs and stained-glass fitted front doors. Meanwhile, Vision is wearing a tucked plaid shirt which mirrors Danny Tanner's (Bob Saget) casual ensemble. An easy-to-miss detail in this particular bit is the pair of cribs that the couple are in front of — implying that they have twins.

Granted, the cribs could also simply refer to Wanda and Vision's twin kids from the comics, Billy and Tommy Maximoff, who have long been rumored to appear in WandaVision. However, Marvel Studios could've used other sitcoms for inspiration when revealing the existence of the twins. They knew that fans will eventually notice this Easter egg by using a Full House background considering that Mary Kate and Ashley alternately played the youngest Tanner sister, Michelle, in the show.

Now, Mary Kate and Ashley are retired from acting, focusing their efforts on running their fashion empire. Elizabeth, meanwhile, continues the Olsen's history in Hollywood, starring in a mix of big and small screen projects, including being a prominent member of the MCU with WandaVision as her next outing.
