Marvel did reportedly take notice of fan ideas for a Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings)/Agent Jimmy Woo (Randall Park) WandaVision spin-off. Although WandaVision primarily centered on Wanda Maximoff's (Elizabeth Olsen) arc overcoming her grief, Darcy and Jimmy Woo also got their chance to shine in the Marvel spotlight once again. Both Darcy and Jimmy experienced immense character growth between their initial Marvel movie appearances and their return in WandaVision. After working as Jane Foster's (Natalie Portman) assistant in 2011's Thor and 2013's Thor: The Dark WorldDarcy arrived at the S.W.O.R.D base outside of Westview with a doctorate in astrophysics. Meanwhile, Jimmy met S.W.O.R.D agent Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) with a triumphant flourish, having finally mastered the magic card trick from 2018's Ant-Man and the Wasp

WandaVision fans loved watching Darcy team up with Jimmy and Monica as they attempted to solve the mystery of the Westview hex. The trio meshed extremely well together, proving to be one of Marvel's best unexpected team-ups of 2021. What was vital about the Jimmy/Darcy/Monica trio was that they genuinely cared about Wanda's well-being, which resulted in them clashing with Tyler Hayward (Josh Stamberg), the acting director of S.W.O.R.D. Thankfully the golden trio triumphed over Hayward in episode 9, "The Series Finale." Now with Monica off to continue her story in The Marvels, fans have been crying out for a Jimmy Woo/Darcy Lewis X-Files-esque spinoff.

In a recent interview with PopCulture, Dennings relayed her thoughts on the spin-off idea. Although Marvel has yet to confirm that a Jimmy Woo/Darcy Lewis show is in the works, Dennings made an interesting comment about the spin-off's potential. Check out what Dennings said about Marvel and the spin-off show below.

"It's always up to the powers that be...I think they [Marvel] took notice of all the comments."

Darcy and Jimmy Woo MCU WandaVision

In the same interview, Dennings definitely sounded on-board with a Darcy/Jimmy series, saying that she'd sign on to do a WandaVision spin-off in a heartbeat. Even though Marvel Studios has yet to confirm a Darcy/Jimmy series, that doesn't mean that fans should assume said spin-off is off the table. Marvel does plan shows and movies years in advance, and it would make sense to continue their narratives in Phase 4 or beyond.

Hopefully Marvel will listen and give Darcy and Jimmy their own show. WandaVision was praised by fans and critics, so continuing with two fan-favorite characters could be a way to bank off of the show's success. After all, several Disney+ Marvel shows are coming out, so a spinoff focusing on Jimmy and Darcy could have a home on the streaming service. It's clear that there's still plenty of story-telling potential for Dr. Lewis and Agent Woo, so it would be a shame not to explore the possibilities.
