The next episode of WandaVision will be mind-blowing, says Paul Bettany. Marvel Studios' inaugural Phase 4 project also happens to be their first produced content for Disney+, and so far, so good, with the show getting rave reviews week after week.

After its first two episodes mined inspiration from '50s and '60s sitcoms like I Love Lucy and Bewitched, WandaVision's latest offering brought the titular character to the '70s with references to The Brady Bunch. There was a lot that happened in the episode that is expected to play a significant role in the show's future, particularly the birth of Tommy and Billy, as well as Geraldine, aka Monica Rambeau, getting pushed out of the fantastical world. If all that wasn't enough, things are about to get trippier when the show returns for a new episode, according to Bettany.

Replying to a post on Twitter praising the show, the WandaVision actor teased that the next outing for the Disney+ project will be mind-blowing. Unfortunately, he didn't give any specific details about what can be expected, but that makes sense considering Marvel Studios' strict policy when it comes to spoilers. Nevertheless, it's more than enough to further ramp up the hype coming next Friday. Check Bettany's full tweet below:

Based on the storytelling progression of WandaVision thus far, the show will make its way to the '80s with potential inspiration from Family Ties and Full House. The trailers didn't reveal much about this era, aside from the shots of Wanda and Vision in their once again redesigned house looking over their twins. Since time passes quite quickly in this pocket reality, more likely created by Scarlet Witch, it's possible that by the end of the next episode, the kids are already toddlers.

While Bettany didn't give out any clues about what to expect in terms of story, it's clear that Marvel Studios is also gradually revealing the truth about this ideal suburbia life that Wanda and Vision are living. Episode 3 was the first time WandaVision revealed what's in the vicinity of this bizarre town, and with Monica out, depending on what she remembers, she could provide information to SWORD about what it's like inside the fake reality. Furthermore, it's also interesting how Wanda operates moving forward, as it's safe to say that she's only going to be more protective of this fantastical world, especially with Billy and Tommy in the picture.

Reviews for WandaVision have generally been positive, but there are still some who aren't on board with its slow pace. Bettany already came out and advised that patience is the key here, as the show is building towards a satisfying payoff. As the series tackles the remaining decades coming to modern times, it's expected to become the more familiar MCU fanfare that everybody missed during the franchise's forced hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic. From there, expect that whatever goes down in the Disney+ project will have ramifications in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
