During the big game, Marvel Studios released a new TV spot, showcasing three of their new MCU series coming to Disney+. While the spot showcased new looks at Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki, WandaVision was arguably the most interesting. The few short clips fans got to see wasted no time in revealing how trippy and wild the new series will be, as well as revealing the family Wanda and Vision may or may not actually have.

In the TV spot, fans see a shot of Wanda, visibly pregnant, in a setting akin to The Brady Bunch. Furthermore, there's another shot with Vision and Wanda standing over two cribs, with dual pacifiers popping up from the cribs and into the air, revealing that Wanda and Vision will have two children. However, it's still too early to tell if the Vision family will be real, part of an altered reality, or a figment of Wanda's dreams of what could have been had Vision not died. In any case, it's more than likely that their two children are twins if the comics are any indication.

In Marvel Comics, Wanda and Vision do indeed have children. As Vision is a robot, Wanda conceives their twin boys through magical means, naming their twin boys Thomas and William. However, their upbringing was anything but normal. Thomas and William were born from the fragments of the demon lord Mephisto's soul. This was not known by Wanda or Vision at the time. When Mephisto reabsorbed the fragments, the boys were lost. Wanda, driven by grief, sought to bring them back with help from Doctor Doom, however, their efforts resulted in a cosmic entity possessing Wanda, causing her to dismantle Vision and kill Hawkeye. This eventually led to the House of M event where Wanda creates a new reality where everyone gets their heart's desire (which could be the inspiration for the streaming series).

When reality is restored back to normal, Wanda lives in Wundagore, where she was born, with no memory of her past. Many issues and series later, Wiccan (real name Billy Kaplan) and Speed (Tommy Shepherd) of the Young Avengers discover that they are long lost brothers. Suspecting that they are the reincarnated sons of Scarlet Witch, they go on a quest to find her. Once finding her, Wanda's memories are restored and it's revealed she is indeed their mother.

All signs point towards Billy and Tommy being introduced in the WandaVision series. Beyond Wanda being pregnant and the two cribs, there's also a fridge in the background behind Wanda, which has children's art on it. One page has a letter "B" on it, and the other a "T". This seems to be a pretty solid confirmation that Billy and Tommy are the specific children in the series, which is exciting. After their reincarnation, Wiccan has magical powers like his mom, and Speed has super speed like his uncle Pietro (Quicksilver). Imagine if they end up growing up and having powers of their own. Throw in the teen versions of Cassie Lang (Stature) from the Ant-Man films and Monica Rambeau (Photon) from Captain Marvel and the beginnings of the MCU Young Avengers could be coming together (Coincidentally enough, an older Monica will be in WandaVision played by Teyonah Parris.)

In any case, the narrative opportunities that present themselves as a result of Wanda and Vision having kids are big and fans should be excited to see what happens in WandaVision later this year.

WandaVision releases on Disney+ in December of 2020.
