WARNING: There are SPOILERS ahead for WandaVision episode 7.

WandaVision episode 7 titled  "Breaking The Fourth Wall" featured a secret message during its sitcom intro. As the Marvel Studios series approaches the finale, its sitcom references have progressed into the 2000s, with episode 7 primarily drawing from the hit comedies Modern Family and The Office. Much like its predecessors, "Breaking The Fourth Wall" also included a fun theme song that mimicked that of the other shows; while it did a great job capturing the fun quality of The Office theme in particular, the WandaVision version also featured a chilling code that can be easily missed.

Starting off with Wanda and Vision's move to Westview to live the idealized suburban life, it's clear that not all is what it seems in WandaVision from the get-go. It took several episodes to confirm that this fantasy life is indeed taking place in a pocket reality that Scarlet Witch created but may not have complete control over. As WandaVision nears the end, more information regarding what's really happening inside the hex is revealed, with episode 7 unmasking the narrative's real villain — Agnes aka Agatha Harkness. Before this dark plot twist happened, however, the show snuck in an ominous detail in its sitcom intro that could be interpreted in a couple of ways.

In WandaVision's episode 7's sitcom-inspired intro, the word "Wanda" is repeated on various mundane places like a name tag, car license plate, and street sign before it becomes the header for a calendar, and the word "Vision" was added to complete the show's title. But amidst the flurry of seemingly mismatched shots, there's a quick shot of what appears to be a ransom note that initially only showed "Wanda," until the perspective shifted into a wide shot that revealed the full message: "I KnOW whaT U Are DOING WaNDA." It's uncertain who authored the note, but chances are that this was a deliberate detail snuck in the outing's otherwise light and fun intro to foreshadow later events.

SWORD Vision WandaVision

WandaVision episode 7 didn't revisit the note to reveal what it's really about, but its accusation can refer to a few things that are happening in the story thus far. It could refer to Scarlet Witch essentially kidnapping Vision's corpse from S.W.O.R.D. Granted that Hayward and his minions are experimenting on it to potentially use it as a sentient weapon — something that the synthezoid didn't want — she still stole it from them. Another possible interpretation is Wanda taking the people of Westview hostage so she can live the ideal suburbia life she has long wanted with Vision. As revealed in episode 4, "We Interrupt This Program," almost everyone in the town has been trapped inside the hex again their will — and the experience causing them intense pain.

It's curious if this note will mean anything moving forward. Now that it is down to its last two episodes, viewers can expect that the story will finally resolve some of WandaVision's most pressing questions. Since both potential interpretations of the creepy message need additional clarifications, it can ultimately factor in how the series intends to wrap up its complicated narrative. It won't even be surprising if something similar to the note is included in the remaining intros — that's if WandaVision will continue to have sitcom-inspired storytelling despite its true story now unveiled.
