WandaVision has been a huge hit on Disney+, bringing the MCU to a weekly television series. It also took a unique approach, setting it up originally in a world that looked like a classic sitcom and presenting a cast of characters living in the past.

Throughout the series, the show's world opened and showed WandaVision characters outside the idyllic town. Many people popping up are very familiar thanks to their work in Hollywood and on television.

Elizabeth Olsen - Martha Marcy May Marlene (2011)

Everyone who loves the MCU knows that Elizabeth Olsen has appeared in more than one movie as Wanda Maxomiff, the Scarlet Witch. However, she was a huge success before she ever started appearing in blockbuster movies.

The little sister to the Olsen Twins had critical success in the movie Martha Marcy May Marlene. This was a movie about a cult and the girls that found themselves trapped in it, including Olsen's Martha, who escapes and tries to assimilate back into society.

Debra Jo Rupp - That '70s Show

In the first episode of WandaVision, the show presented the entire idea that Wanda Maximoff and Vision lived in a sitcom world, and it was similar to shows like The Dick Van Dyke Show and Bewitched. It made sense that a beloved sitcom face would show up at some point.

Vision and Wanda had dinner with his boss and his wife, and the wife was played by none other than Debra Jo Rupp, who played Kitty Forman, the hapless mother from That '70s Show.

Emma Caulfield Ford - Buffy The Vampire Slayer

One character that was a huge secret when it came to her casting was Emma Caulfield Ford as Dottie. She is the one person in the neighborhood that everyone needs to be friendly with. She held the talent show and was someone that Wanda took a while to warm up to. There are also rumors she plays a bigger role in the final episodes.

Caulfield is a Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum, playing Anya Jenkins, a former vengeance demon who became an ally as well as the girlfriend of Xander.

Kat Dennings - Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist (2008)

Kat Dennings comes to WandaVision straight from her appearance in the Thor movies. She also made her name thanks to the television series Two Broke Girls. However, her breakout role came in the 2008 indie sensation Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist.

Dennings starred as Norah, a girl who asks Nick (Michael Cera) to pretend to be her boyfriend for five minutes but then ends up spending the entire night hanging out with him as the two tried to find the secret show their favorite band was playing that night.

Teyonah Parris - Dear White People (2014)

Dear White People has become a hit Netflix series, but it started as a groundbreaking independent movie in 2014. The movie focused on the racial tensions at an Ivy League college from several Black students' perspectives. This was where Teyonah Parris, who plays Monica Rambeau, enjoyed her breakout performance.

Parris starred as Collandrea "Coco" Conners, a woman trying to get on reality TV only to learn the producer wanted a lighter-skinned girl. Tessa Thompson, who stars in the MCU as Valkyrie, was also in the movie.

Kathryn Hahn - Transparent

Kathryn Hahn has been very impressive in WandaVision as Agnes, who turned out to be Agatha Harkness. However, before this, Hahn played a role in the Prime Video series Transparent, which earned her a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the Primetime Emmys.

Hahn starred on the show as Rabbi Raquel Fein, which allowed her to enjoy some fantastic comedic moments. It also opened up her opportunities to appear in the Prime series I Love Dick, the HBO series Mrs. Fletcher, and the HBO series I Know This Much is True.

Randall Park - Always Be My Maybe (2019)

MCU fans have fallen in love with Jimmy Woo, who came to WandaVision from Ant-Man. He has become such a fan-favorite that many fans hope to see Woo get more opportunities in Marvel, including maybe an Agent's of Atlas series.

Randall Park also had a lot of success on Netflix, where he co-wrote and co-starred in the romantic comedy Always Be My Maybe. Park starred as Marcus, a man who reconnects with his childhood love Sasha (Ali Wong), later in life. Fresh Off the Boat fans will remember Park as the sitcom's patriarch, too.

Evan Peters - American Horror Story

There were two Quicksilvers, one in Fox's X-Men movies and one in Avengers: Age of Ultron. The one that WandaVision brought back was the X-Men version. However, Evan Peters had an even bigger role in another franchise; Peters starred in eight different seasons of American Horror Story, with a ninth coming soon.

Ironically, Peters also appeared in Kick-Ass with the other Quicksilver actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass himself), playing his best friend in the movie.

Paul Bettany - A Knight's Tale (2001)

Paul Bettany appears to be having a great time playing the comedic roles on WandaVision, and it is something he doesn't usually get the chance to do. However, his breakout role came in the 2001 movie A Knight's Tale.

In that movie, Heath Ledger starred as a peasant who poses as a knight to earn money and accolades for his freedom. He ended up meeting Geoffrey Chaucer (Bettany), who gave him WWE-styled introductions.

Elizabeth Olsen - Godzilla (2014)

A second Elizabeth Olsen role has a distinct connection. Olsen starred in 2014's Godzilla reboot. The movie starred Bryan Cranston as a scientist who couldn't save his wife during a nuclear incident. The movie cuts to 15 years later, and his son Ford is a NAVY EOD officer. Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who portrayed Quicksilver in the MCU movies, was Ford, and Olsen, who played Quicksilver's sister Wanda, starred in Godzilla as Ford's wife, Elle.
