The hit song “Agatha All Along” from WandaVision has been nominated for the category, Best Song Written for Visual Media, at the 2022 Grammys. WandaVision explored different cycles of American sitcoms, with every episode featuring a nostalgic soundtrack to parallel the era of each episode. Sung by Kathryn Hahn, the villain theme song from episode 7 of WandaVision was composed by songwriting duo, Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.

The Recording Academy for the 2022 Grammy Awards announced the songwriter award for the category of Best Song Written for Visual Media, with “Agatha All Along” from WandaVision being nominated. This year, WandaVision is the only TV show nominee for this category, going up against fellow nominees: Bo Burnham’s “All Eyes on Me”, P!NK’s “All I Know So Far,” “Fight For You” from Judas And The Black Messiah, “Here I Am” from Respect, and “Speak Now” from One Night in Miami.

Being the first TV show to earn a nominee for Best Visual Media in eight years, WandaVision continues to triumph and lead the success of Disney+’s Marvel franchise series. Earlier this year, WandaVision earned 23 Emmy nominations and won its first Emmys for Marvel Studios in three categories in Creative Arts. With the breakout success of the show, Disney+ has recently announced a WandaVision spinoff featuring Kathryn Hahn reprising her role as Agatha in Agatha: House of Harkness with WandaVision’s head writer, Jac Schaeffer.

After the events of Avengers: Endgame, WandaVision follows Wanda Maximoff in the suburbs of Westview, where she creates herself an alternate reality living happily with Vision. Every episode of the show is set in a different time period from the 1950s to the mid-to-late 2000s, paying homage to American sitcoms.
