Last week, The Walking Dead brought on a gruesome season 7 premiere that brought closure for fans who had waited months to see which of Rick's group would wind up on the receiving end of Negan's baseball swing. It was a huge moment that spawned countless comments and discussion across the internet. Now, as the series prepares to walk into a world where life after Negan is very different for some, it is also ready to take viewers into a place seemingly untouched by the villain's influence, a place that is overseen by a man and his pet tiger: The Kingdom.

The Kingdom is a new location brought to the series straight from the comics, and in case you're not familiar with King Ezekiel, yes, that's him with his tiger Shiva. As much as the introduction of Negan meant The Walking Dead would never be the same, the introduction of guy with impressive dreadlocks and large cat by his side suggests pretty much the same. The series once known for its wandering characters and gory conflict with the undead is heading into uncharted territory with its red-scarfed Big Bads and jungle cat sidekicks.

There will no doubt be plenty from the episode that you'll want to share before the others have had a chance to see it, so feel free to do that here. Comments and discussions made here are posted under the assumption that everyone reading has already seen The Walking Dead season 7, episode 2, ‘The Well.' That means it’s going to be full-on spoiler central. If you haven’t yet seen the episode, this might not be the place you want to hang out.
