A new trailer has been released for The Walking Dead season 11. The horror drama franchise originally debuted in 2010, which is based on the comic series by the same name. After ten seasons have aired, the show has proven to be one of the most successful shows on television. Spin-offs such as The Walking Dead: World Beyond have continued to expand upon this growing universe. Season 10 ended with the characters in various dangerous situations that increase the stakes for the next season.

Season 11 will be the final one and is set to premiere on AMC on August 22. However, for those are subscribed to AMC+, The Walking Dead will be accessible one week early on August 15. The season will be split into two parts, summing up to a total of 24 episodes. The story will adapt the content from #175-193 from the comics. The main group will have to deal with the Commonwealth, which is a huge group of communities.

The Walking Dead YouTube channel shared a new trailer for the upcoming season. It introduces some of the situations that the characters find themselves in after last season moving into season 11. This includes Eugene, Yumiko, Ezekiel, and Princess still being held captive by the soldiers. The sneak peek also features a bunch of zombie action including characters such as Negan and Maggie, among others. See below for the new trailer:

The season 10 finale sets up a major storyline for Negan in the upcoming season. Audiences finally know what happened to Negan's wife, Lucille. This particular plot point is major to Negan's story, although there have been some changes made between the comics and the show. While the meaning behind it remains the same, the method by which it happens is a bit different. While the audience sees growth in Negan with him coming to terms with the past, other characters like Maggie are likely to be less than forgiving.

The new trailer for The Walking Dead season 11 is only 36 seconds long, although it does give a bit more of a glimpse into what's to come. After a compilation of some zombie action, Negan states, "That is God telling us to turn around." He's clearly in a dangerous situation and he senses that. While we don't quite know the full scope of the situation he's in, it's clear that it's nothing good. With the trailer itself appropriately subtitled Turn Around, it's clear that this upcoming season will have plenty of dangers lurking around every corner.
