[Spoiler Warning for The Walking Dead Season 10]
The Walking Dead season 10 finale will get an air date later this month at SDCC 2020. The annual San Diego event is going to be much different this year. For the first time, Comic-Con will be held virtually. It has been three months since The Walking Dead's most recent episode. The zombie thriller is currently in its 10th season, covering the Whisperer War arc. The season would have ended by now, but the finale was pushed back to an unspecified date later this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fans have been waiting to see how the protagonists are going to deal with Beta's horde of the undead. In the previous episode, the characters are at a hospital as Beta approaches. This season had a number of developments, such as Negan's killing of Alpha, and Michonne's final outing on the program. The season finale looks to be big, based on the story and what key individuals have been teased. In fact, Norman Reedus has compared the finale's big battle to Game of Thrones. Soon, fans will know exactly when that battle takes place.
The Walking Dead showrunner Angela Kang has revealed key information regarding the season 10 finale, "A Certain Doom." Answering a fan's question on Instagram, Kang says the finale premiere date will be unveiled at Comic-Con@Home. Check out the comment below.
Interested fans will want to tune in to The Walking Dead panel Friday, July 24, at 1 PM PT/4 PM ET. The panel will feature a number of Walking Dead cast members, such as Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan. Speaking of Cohan, Maggie makes her return in the season finale after her long absence. Show director Greg Nicotero says fans will drop their jaws at what's coming in The Walking Dead season 10 finale. Based on everything, that seems like it will be accurate.
The Walking Dead viewers appear to be in for a treat, not only on the action front but also the characters. There are different character arcs going on. Negan has gone through notable development over this and the last season, so it will be interesting seeing if the community now accepts him as a member of the group. Meanwhile, what will be of Carol and Daryl's relationship going forward? One unknown factor is if Connie is still alive. Hopefully, for Connie's fans, that will be addressed as well. Either way, a climactic battle awaits, and fans don't have to wait that much longer to figure out when it will air on AMC.
