When Rick (Andrew Lincoln) rallied three communities into making a stand against Negan on The Walking Dead, no one should have expected the Saviors to make it easy for them. The Saviors seem to have a found an answer to the attacks in the form of a deadly new weapon teased at the end of last night's episode.

Everything was going well for Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and the Saviors until their hold on various communities was threatened by an alliance between Alexandria, the Hilltop, and the Kingdom in the season 7 finale. Now, "All Out War" has begun, which could bring an end to everything Negan has built. After spending an entire season in control, fans are finally seeing Negan in a less-than-comfortable position with Rick gaining the upper hand for the first time. However, a twist at the end of Sunday's episode suggests that the Saviors were more prepared than everyone thought.

The promo for next week's episode, titled "Some Guy", gives fans a look at the weapon the Saviors will unleash on their enemies (see the video above). The trailer shows the Saviors packing up the .50 caliber Browning machine gun after using it against the Kingdom. The promo also features another passionate speech from Ezekiel, Carol in danger, and Rick in a car chase with a Savior.

AMC has released a synopsis for the episode which seems to put the focus on the danger presented by the Browning machine gun:

A new weapon in the Savior arsenal proves to be a giant hurdle as fighting continues between Rick's forces and those of the Saviors.

It's easy to see why a gun this powerful could be described as "a giant hurdle" for Rick's group. The gun easily tore through members of the Kingdom, leaving the fate of Ezekiel unclear. The damage it was able to do to the Kingdom in mere seconds proves how quickly it could turn the tide in the war with the Saviors.

The weapon's involvement was foreshadowed by remarks made by a Savior encountered by Rick and Daryl. The two were unable to find the guns they were looking for, but managed to learn from a Savior that a shipment of Browning machine guns had been sent to another outpost. That outpost turned out to be the same one that was under attack by the Kingdom. Fans will have to wait and see how Rick and the other survivors will retaliate.
