Warning: This contains MAJOR SPOILERS for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever!Marking the finale of Phase 4 of the MCU, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever gifts fans with the return of many characters from its predecessor's phenomenal cast, while adding a few new ones into the mix as well. After such a long wait and the tragic passing of Chadwick Boseman, viewers were extremely touched by the movie’s tribute to him as T’challa, as well as the actors using their genuine emotions toward Boseman’s death while the Black Panther was mourned at his traditional Wakandan funeral.

Fans who have already seen the movie are confident that the late actor would be proud of the cast of Wakanda Forever’s impressive portrayals of their characters. Bringing their unique narratives to life yet again with thoroughly distinct personalities, the cast’s amazing performances have caused fans to wonder who they are most like out of the ensemble. By assigning the film's most iconic characters to their respective Myers-Briggs personality type, fans can easily detect which of them they reflect the most.

Queen Ramonda – ISFJ

Queen Ramonda in Wakanda Forever

Reclaiming the throne after the death of her son, Queen Ramonda has always been devoted with a deep sense of responsibility, much like ISFJ folks. In Wakanda Forever, she is a beacon of emotion and hope for her people.

She is dedicated and intensely loyal to those who have earned her trust, putting forth her utmost effort while protecting them, all common traits of an ISFJ. This is highlighted greatly when she sacrifices herself to save Riri as Namor floods the palace, leaving the girl with a sense of duty to assist Wakanda in the war.

Shuri – INTJ

Taking up the Black Panther mantle from her deceased brother, Shuri becomes a fierce protector while showcasing the perseverance of an INTJ perfectly, even after the loss of her mother and Queen.

Heavily innovative like most INTJs, Shuri sees a way to improve everything around her, unbothered by the pressure of tradition. She even goes as far as attempting to formulate a cure for T’challa before he succumbs to his illness. Strategic as her Myers-Briggs type, Shuri wishes to negotiate with the Talokan instead of turning to war, then must step up as her nation’s protector.

Okoye – ISTJ

Firmly upholding the tradition and order of her country to a fault, Okoye is as ISTJ as it gets. This is apparent in one of Wakanda Forever’s biggest surprises, when Queen Ramonda dismisses her from being a part of the Dora Milaje, after she sided with Killmonger in the first movie and failed to keep Shuri from being captured.

With the dedicated and analytical mindset of an ISTJ, Okoye still refuses to stop doing everything she can to protect Shuri after her dismissal, having a suit made specifically for her to wear while fighting the Talokan. Like her Myers-Briggs type, she places immense value on her own dignity and agrees to team up with Everett Ross to find Shuri.

M'Baku – ESFP

Challenging the throne of Wakanda yet again at Shuri’s ritual coronation (though this time with Shuri's blessing, apparently), the leader of the Jabari Tribe is nothing if not competitive and proud, a telltale sign of being an ESFP. Refusing to be ignored despite his tribe originally being outcast by society, M’Baku is extremely outgoing and eager to prove himself and the greatness of his people.

After Queen Ramonda’s passing, M’Baku does everything in his power to assist Shuri in rising against Namor and becomes part of Wakanda's leadership council, portraying the value of equality common in ESFPs. His earthy, unique wit is wholly entertaining, and he has earned unquestionable resilience from living a hard life comparable to his MBTI.

Ayo – ESTJ

The ever-protective new general of the Dora Milaje continues to show her unwavering loyalty to Wakanda and its royalty, a trait that is strong within ESTJ folks. This is seen particularly when she points her spear at M’Baku as he intimidatingly approaches Shuri,

Immediately joining the fight against Namor, Ayo exhibits the allegiance of an ESTJ, supporting Okoye and the Dora soldiers during the battles on the giant ship in the Atlantic Ocean. Her disciplined nature and purposeful honesty only further prove her Myers-Briggs type, upholding the safety of others most of all.

Everett Ross – ESFJ

Everett Ross truly proves his considerate and responsible ESFJ nature in Wakanda Forever, leading Shuri to Riri Williams for assistance after Namor’s attack on the country. Living to serve others, Ross becomes a valuable asset and repays his debt to Wakanda as the movie progresses.

Betraying the CIA to do what he believes is right like any ESFJ would, he finds Shuri’s kimoyo beads on the bridge where she was captured by the Talokanil and helps Okoye track her down, becoming imprisoned until Okoye breaks him out.

Namor – INFJ

Namor in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Like most INFJs, Namor is looked up to by his people and greatly influences them, standing up to fight for what he believes is right. As an idealist, he despises injustice and doesn’t care for personal gain, which is shown when he refuses to be invaded for Vibranium or sell it to outsiders.

Namor is a conscientious person and is highly skilled, a regular occurrence in the Myers-Briggs type, as one of Black Panther’s most powerful villains. He wishes to protect his people and their way of life with confidence, much like an INFJ would. Also, he is very reasonable (especially for a villain) and only counters Riri’s device because it can detect his valuable resources, which he fears will be taken by others.

Riri – ESTP

An image of Riri Williams using contraptions in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Quick-witted and emotionally intelligent well beyond her years, Riri is an ESTP through and through. Like others sharing her Myers-Briggs type, she is very independent and very capable of making her own decisions without guidance, like when she steals from MIT to make her Ironheart suit.

Furthermore, Riri is extroverted and unafraid to fight for what her beliefs, especially when faced with technological conflicts. She is not particularly easy to win over, which is shown when she stays neutral about the war between the Wakandans and the people of Talokan. Once Queen Ramonda sacrifices herself to save the 15-year-old, Riri quickly changes her tune.

Nakia – ENTJ

As a war dog and spy that thoroughly enjoys independence, no MBTI fits Nakia better than ENTJ. Characterized by her executive focus on goals and determination, the former Dora Milaje member is rarely strayed from purposefulness.

As she grieves the loss of T’Challa, Nakia shows a side of her that is quite vulnerable and not often seen, something ENTJs are known for. She is fierce and powerful, keeping her focus on what is important, like raising her (and T’Challa’s) son away from the heavy stressors of Wakanda. Nakia’s character is defined by her sharpness and unyielding yet responsible nature.

T’Challa – ISFJ

Just like Wakanda's late Queen, T’challa was as dedicated as it gets, notably a caring defender of his nation and all of its people. He set high standards for himself constantly and was fully committed to being a reliable king.

The observant protector is easily influenced by the suffering of others, like when he first learned of Killmonger’s struggles and his father's wrong-doings, eager to make things right. He invested tons of energy into maintaining strong connections with his loved ones, which is exactly why he was mourned immensely by everyone who knew him and began sharing his resources with the rest of the world.
