The Voice's Kelly Clarkson is celebrating big after a court decided to uphold her prenup with her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock. The "Since U Been Gone" singer shared her happiness with the entire set. The couple were married in 2013 but called it quits in 2020 after Kelly filed for divorce.

The break-up has been a bit nasty, with the two fighting a bit. Kelly has primary custody of their two children, River and Remington, but recently the courts told her she would have to pay $200,000 a month in spousal support to Brandon. The ex-music executive now wants to devote his time to becoming a full-time rancher by using the duo's Montana ranch. Most recently, Kelly revealed she would be going back to her maiden name and moving on from the disastrous marriage.

It was reported by TMZ that there had been a little party on the set of The Voice as Kelly decided to celebrate her small win over her prenup being upheld. A judge decided to validate her prenup, and she found out the exciting information while filming on set. According to a source, she let out a tiny squeal of joy. The source shared that Kelly was in the midst of filming when she received the email saying that the contested paperwork had been accepted. The prenup reportedly segregates all assets and income derived during their marriage.

The source revealed that Blake Shelton and Ariana Grande took part in the mini celebration to support their fellow judge. Kelly accumulated many assets while married, which includes the Montana ranch that Brandon wants to work from. Brandon had argued that he wanted to divide the properties and contested the prenup for months. He also wanted the income that Kelly earned during their marriage split. But a judge shut his requests down. During the trial, Kelly's lawyer had argued that Brandon needed to be held accountable for signing the contract.

Kelly now has the right to sell the Montana ranch if she so chooses. The Voice fans have felt it has been an unhappy year for the "Because Of You" singer but are hopeful that she will begin to heal. Currently, Kelly has a lot of projects to keep her busy, including the singing competition and her Daytime Emmy Award-winning show, The Kelly Clarkson Show. NBC viewers are very much looking for the return of the new season so they can once again see Kelly mentoring musicians with her positive and uplifting attitude.
