Gwen Stefani from The Voice has some fun plans for Thanksgiving, and they involve her new husband, Blake Shelton. The couple, who met while they were both coaches on the NBC singing competition series, finally married in July 2021. Gwen and Blake held the ceremony on their Oklahoma property, surrounded by a small group of friends and family. Gwen was previously married to Gavin Rossdale, and the two share three kids together; Kingston Rossdale, Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale, and Apollo Bowie Flynn Rossdale. Blake was married to country singer Miranda Lambert before meeting the iconic No Doubt singer.

Last November was Gwen and Blake's first Thanksgiving as an engaged couple. They spent the day together but chose to keep their plans for the holiday private. As most people did in 2020, they likely had a much smaller gathering than usual. A few days later, Gwen posted a belated Thanksgiving photo to her Instagram Story, which featured an extravagant meal and Thanksgiving-themed decor.

This year, Gwen and Blake plan to return to Oklahoma for the first time since their wedding, so they can celebrate Thanksgiving with their family. Gwen told ET, "it's a tradition. My whole family flies out, and we have not been back there since the wedding. So I'm really looking forward to it." The singer also revealed that she has a new home and life in Oklahoma, which happens to be Blake's home state.

According to Gwen, her family likes to get very experimental with their turkeys. While most families stick to tradition by buying turkeys from the grocery store, cooking them, and covering them in gravy, Gwen's family likes to get innovative. The former The Voice coach revealed that Blake made a Hot Cheetos turkey one year. This Thanksgiving, they're wrapping the bird in bacon. When asked what she wants Blake to get her for the upcoming Christmas season, Gwen shared that she just wants everyone to be happy.

It seems like Gwen will be having quite an interesting holiday in light of her unique Thanksgiving menu. The Voice coaches are sure to have a happy holiday as it's their first Thanksgiving as a married couple. Families all over America are excited to get back into the holiday spirit after a difficult 2020. Some families didn't gather to celebrate last year, so Gwen's wish for everyone to be happy will definitely resonate with a lot of her fans. Gwen and Blake will surely keep everyone updated about their Thanksgiving gathering. Hopefully, Gwen from The Voice will post pictures of their bacon-wrapped turkey.
