The Voice season 19 coach Kelly Clarkson has released eight albums and accumulated three #1 hit songs since winning American Idol season 1. When the mainstream media first took notice of Kelly Clarkson on American Idol, she was just a 20-year-old aspiring singer from Fort Worth, Texas. The fans took a huge interest in her from the very beginning, and she went on to win that very first season of the show. Over the years, Kelly became the ultimate poster child and the golden standard for the American Idol franchise, particularly considering how much success she had after the show.

Kelly Clarkson's incredible voice could have singlehandedly landed her a red chair on The Voice, but her massively successful career, which includes several hit songs and albums, and enchanting personality definitely helped. There's no denying that Kelly represents the perfect example of a "girl next door" who likes to sing. The fans really love how charismatic and real she is, which led Kelly to land her own talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, in 2019. That show is still going strong, but Kelly is also hard at work as one of the coaches on The Voice. She has been a returning coach since she joined the show for the first time on season 14.

Prior to her success with The Voice and the self-titled talk show, Kelly Clarkson had a fantastic career that included eight studio albums. It all started with 2003's Thankful, which debuted at #1 on Billboard. But it was her second album, 2004's Breakaway, that really propelled her career to new heights. After all, that was the album that included the hits "Since U Been Gone" and "Because Of You." Kelly then went on to release 2007's My December and 2009's All I Ever Wanted, both of which had very strong performances on the radio and on the charts. With the 2011 studio album Stronger, Kelly earned her third #1 song, "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)." Since then, she released three more albums: Wrapped In RedPiece By Piece, and Meaning Of Life.

The fans have closely monitored Kelly Clarkson's personal life throughout the years. In 2012, Kelly started dating Brandon Blackstock, who was already a talent manager. They got married a year later, in 2013, and Brandon became Kelly's manager as well. In their marriage, Kelly is the stepmother to two children from Brandon's previous relationship. Kelly and Brandon also went on to have two kids together. The couple has filed for divorce in 2020.

Despite her short time on The Voice, Kelly Clarkson is already a veteran coach and a true champion. The fans are now looking forward to what she'll cook up for season 19.
